教材分析:
本单元主要通过运用第一至四单元所学的语言知识,完成对动物学校的设计,并根据图画内容,仿照E、F部分能够介绍描述自己的动物学校。
学情分析:
学生通过第一至第四单元的学习,能够正确熟练的描述动物,以及介绍自己的动物学校,并且能够正确的描述自己的爱好。这些都为动物学校的介绍奠定了扎实的基础,孩子们也会利用一些问题,了解有关朋友及同学的一些个人信息的内容,具体能通过英语获得信息的能力。可以让学生书写在漂亮的纸上,和学生设计的动物学校放在一起进行展示,从而激励学生用英语表达的愿望。
教学目标
知识目标:1. 能准确运用There be 各类句型讨论学校相关情况。
能综合运用There be句型介绍学校的设施。
能够运用所学语言介绍动物老师和学生。
技能目标:1.通过小组交流和合作,综合运用所学语言,共同完成动物学校的设计和介绍。
2. 通过小组交流和合作,综合运用所学语言,共同完成Project book的制作和介绍。
情感目标:在小组合作与交流中,培养学生的动手能力,培养学生热爱校园生活的情感。
教学重点:
通过小组合作,综合运用U1-U4所学语言进行动物学校和Project book的设计,制作和介绍。
教学难点:
制作animal school和Project book虽然富有童趣,但在实际操作中存在很多问题。教师可以多加示范,适度纠正学生在综合运用时的语言知识错误,通过小组合作完成动物学校的设计和介绍。
教学过程

Step2 Presentation
1.T:Look, what can you see in the picture ?
S: A cat.
T:Once, there is a cat,Its name is Mimi, She stays at home every day .But she is not happy .Why is she not happy? What does she want to do ? Guess.
T:Let’s read :I’m so boring at home,I want to go to school. What does the girl say? Please read.
S: You ! A cat! Go to school? Are you joking?
T: The cat says: Of course not. Do you know ? There’s a school for animals.
T:Really? Where is it ?
S:It’s in the sky .
T: Sky? Are you sure? What’s in the school?
S: There are many things in it . Many , many, many ...
3.Prepare some rooms for the animal school
T: T: Please design an animal school. First discuss what rooms they need? Such as classrooms.Please go over the book from Unit1 to unit4 and find out the relevant sentences.

4. Build an animal school in groups.
T: Please take out your animal school building and the rooms. Stick the rooms in groups. Don’t forget to use the key sentences here.
