Sound time, culture time & cartoon time。
二、Teaching aims:
1、能唱歌曲Rain, rain, go away。
2、能在自主阅读的基础上,朗读、表演Cartoon time中的故事;提高自主提问、合作交流、解决问题的能力。
3、能正确读出字母组合ear的发音,并能体会语句韵脚。
4、了解不规则动词过去式构成及其读音,能用一般过去式陈述句描述图片或过去发生的事。
5、在听、说、读、写活动中,提高英语日记的语言积累与表达能力。

Step1. Warm up
1. Greetings.
2. Ask and answer:
(1) T: Do you like rainy days? Why? /Do you like sunny days? Why?
(2) T: It was Sunday. What day did Yang Ling have? Why?
3. T: This class we’ll continue studying Unit 2 What a day!
Step 2. Song time
1. Look and guess.
T: Look at this boy. He is our new friend Johnny. How about his day? You can guess.
(学生自由猜一猜。)
T: Let’s listen to his singing.
2. T: Was it a good day for Johnny? Why?
S1: Because it was a rainy day. He wanted to play.
3. Listen and sing.
(1)学生自读歌词,提出生词,教师作解答。
(2) Read together.
(3) Listen to the song.
(4) Sing together.
Step 3. Cartoon time
1. T: It wasn’t a good day for Johnny. He felt unhappy. How about Sam and Bobby?
(学生自由阅读,并进行归纳。)
2. T:(引导学生观察图4)Look at Bobby, was he happy?
(图1)But in this picture, Bobby was sad. What happened?
3. Learn pictures one by one.
(1) T: Why was Bobby so sad?
(呈现第一幅图,学习句子及新词。)
(2) T: How did Bobby lose his kite?
(学生找出第二幅图中相关句子:This morning…学习新词组:climb up。)
(3) T: What happened then?
(呈现第三幅图,朗读并理解句子及词汇含义。学习新词hold onto。)
(4) T: But Bobby was happy at last. Why?
(Ss learn to say the word of “found”.)
4. Listen and read.
5. Watch the cartoon and read together. Then try to act out the story.
6. Read and write.
(1) 同桌两人分别阅读,完成Bobby和Sam的日记填空。
(2) Check the answers. Read together.
Step 4. Sound time
1. T: Look at this picture. What were they doing? What day did they have?
2. T: What did the teacher say?
3. Read and find the words with “ear”. Read correctly.
4. Read after the tape.
5. Give more words with “ear”. Try to read the words.
6. Exercise: Put the words into the correct baskets.
Step 5. Summary
1. Give a summary for this class.
2. Ticking time.
