二、教学目标
1. 知识目标:
1) 能熟练复述story time的内容。
2) 能掌握一般过去时态,并正确说出不规则动词的过去式。
3) 能正确、熟练地使用一般过去时和一般现在时介绍自己的过去和现在。
2. 技能目标:
对比自己的照片,能正确、熟练地使用一般过去时和一般现在时介绍自己的过去和现在。
3. 情感目标:
通过本课的学习,加强学生的感恩意识。
三、教学重点:
1. 能掌握一般过去时态,并正确说出不规则动词的过去式。

Step 1: Review & Talk
1. 出示学习目标
T: Here are some learning aims of today’s class. Now read them by yourselves.
【设计思路】课前出示What to learn和How to learn的学习目标,让学生预先明确本课要达到的要求,及时反思和调控自己的学习过程。
2. 师生互致问候
T: In this class, I’ll check your pre-class work. Are you ready?
T: Let’s begin our class. Class begins!
【设计思路】师生问候,自然交流,融洽师生关系,为之后的教学营造和谐氛围。
3. 复习
T: Last class, we talked about Mike’s family. They have some changes in four aspects. What are they?
T: We talked about their changes of ability, communication, reading and shopping.
T: What are their then and now? First let’s play a game ‘ Yeah & No’. If it is right, say yeah and repeat the sentence. If it’s not right, say no and correct it.
【设计思路】通过游戏复习课文内容,活跃课堂气氛。
T: You know their changes very well. Let’s try to retell the story according to the table. Work in groups.
【设计思路】通过小组复述整体复习课文,为后面的学习做铺垫。
Step 2: Grammar time
1. 朗读句子,总结一般过去时态句子结构
T: Mike’s family have a lot of differences between then and now. And today, we’ll go on learning Unit 4 Then and now. Look, here are some sentences from the story. What can you find in these sentences? Read them in your groups and try to find something.
【设计思路】从课文中选取部分句子,引导学生通过朗读、观察、讨论、分析、归纳一般过去时态句子结构,避免教师满堂灌,培养学生自主学习的能力。
2. 教授、巩固一般过去时态动词的不规则变化
T: Do you know more irregular verbs?
T: Let’s read together.
T: Now, let’s have a check. Quick respond. When you see do, you say did. But when you see a bomb, please do like this and say bomb.
【设计思路】游戏的方式复习一般过去时态动词的不规则变化,使得枯燥的语法知识变得生动。
Step 3: Fun time
1.运用一般过去时态谈论自己的过去
T: I think you know the irregular verbs very well. And I’m sure you are much clear about the simple past tense. Can you use the simple past tense to talk about yourself in the past? Such as, thirty years ago, I was a student. I couldn’t teach English.
【设计思路】语法的学习没有在孤立的单词或句子中进行教学,而是将零碎的语法点和真实有效的语境相结合,在实践中让学生熟悉语言结构,发展语言技能,培养初步的交际能力。
2.运用一般现在时态谈论自己的现在
T: Some years ago, you were a little child, so you couldn’t do many things. How about now? Now, you are … or now you can …
【设计思路】运用一般现在时态谈论自己的现在,为下面一般过去时态、一般现在时态的对比做铺垫。
3. 对比一般过去时态和一般现在时态
T: Wow, you’ve grown up, and you can do many things. Boys and girls, in our book, there is a part about our then and now. I know you’ve stuck your photos. And do you want to know this boy’s then and now? Now read by yourselves.
T: What could Tony do five years ago? Now, he is eight years old. What can he do? He has changed a lot. Look, when we talk about the things in the past, we often use the simple past tense. When we talk about the things now, we often use the present tense.
【设计思路】通过阅读书本上Tony的过去和现在,对比一般过去时态和一般现在时态,为学生的表达提供帮助。
谈论自己的过去和现在
T: Now it’s your turn. Open your books at Page 40. Talk about your then and now in groups. These sentences can help you.
【设计思路】学生对比照片,说说自己的变化,发展语言运用能力。
5. 选择填空
T: I know a lot about you. Do you want to know my then and now? Look, here is a short passage about me. Can you complete it? Read the passage, choose the words in the box and fill in the blanks with correct form.
T: Let’s check the answers.
T: Look, this was me twenty years ago. At that time, I was a little shy. But now I’m quite different. I have changed a lot. What else do you know about me? Now you are … or now you can …
【设计思路】听说领先,读写跟上,利于学生正确使用两种时态进行表达。
6. 德育渗透
T: You know a lot about me. There are many changes in my life. A lot of people help me grow up, such as my parents, my teachers, my friends and you, too. I want to thank my mum and dad. They brought me to the world and taught me to do many things. Dear Mum & Dad… I want to thank my teacher. She taught me how to be a teacher. Dear Ms Zhen ...And the last card is for you. Let me read it.
T: My parents and teachers offer me help, and you give me happiness. I’m sure a lot of people help you grow up. Who do you want to thank? Why?
T: After class, you can make cards for them.
【设计思路】将感恩教育纳入了该课教学目标,学生积极踊跃地表达自己的思想,在轻松、愉快的学习氛围中自然的接受正面的德育教育,受到良好的情感熏陶。
Step 4: Ticking time
T: Before the class, I showed you the learning aims, do you remember? Now do the ticking work in groups. If you can’t get three stars each, you need to practice more after class. I think you can do better.
【设计思路】课堂结束前学生完成自我评价部分,让学生体验成功的喜悦,充分发挥学生在学习过程中的主体地位。
Step 4: Homework
1. Memorize the irregular verbs you’ve learnt, and try to know more.
2. Say more changes of your life with your partners.
3. Make a card to thank people who help you in your life.
【设计思路】第一、二项作业是巩固Grammar time 和Fun time的内容,第三项作业制作感谢卡,将自己的改变和感谢语写在卡片上,这种创作型作业,让学生充满了新鲜感,轻松学习、愉快作业,达到启发学生创新思维的目的。
