六(上)Unit4 Then and Now
(Grammar time and Fun time)
教学目标:
1、能正确,熟练地运用一般过去式介绍自己的过去;
2、能正确说出不规则动词的过去式;
3、能发现生活中的点滴变化,并正确使用英语表达。

教学过程:
Step1 Warming up.
1、Enjoy a song:Yesterday once more
T: What did you do just now?
What did you do yesterday?
(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,激发学生兴趣,同时为引出句型What did you do…?做铺垫。)
2、Yesterday we talked about the changes of Mike’s family. Do you remember the changes?
(discuss in pairs ,then finish the blanks,at last say it together)

(设计意图:由学生自由交谈的话题What did you do…?自然引出Storytime内容的复习。)
3、T: In the passage,we used differents kinds of tenses.(PPT呈现)。Because when we talk about the things to“in the past”,we should use the past tense. when we talk about the things“now”,we should use the present tense.
Step2 Presentation and practice.
一、Grammar time
1、When we used the past tense, where should we put the verbs in the sentence?(板书句子Six years ago,I couldn’t write.)
T: “Six years ago”tells us “when”
“I” tells us “who”
“could’t write”tells us “what”(So we should use the verb in this part)
(设计意图:教师出示Grammar time部分内容,让学生自主观察,并在老师的引导下,尝试进行自主归纳语法规则。)
Let’s read grammar time by yourselves,you will learn more bout the past tense.
Here are the irregular word. Can you find more irregular words?
(设计意图:启发学生说出更多的不规则动词的过去式。)
4、Play a game(Quick response)
T: I say the words, you should say the past tense as quickly as you can.
5、Play a game : Make sentences
T: Work in groups of four. The first student writes down “When”, The second student writes down “Who”and the third student writes down “What”. The fourth student need to put these three arbitrary combined into a sentence .
Eg: S1: twenty years ago
S2: Mr Brown
S3: write letters to his friends
S4: Twenty years ago, Mr Brown wrote letters to his friends.
(设计意图:教师引导学生运用动词的过去式,自编对话,呈现任务设计的递进性。)
二、Fun time
1、T:Did you remember the song just now?It’s about the writer’s past and now.Let’s talk about our past now?
2、T: Look, here are two photos of me. Twenty years ago, I was a student. I could ride a bike .I couldn’t drive. I didn’t work. Now I’m a teacher. I can drive.I teach you English.
B. T: Let’s say something about “ then and now” of you.(use the photos,学生上课之前把照片粘贴在书上)
(设计意图:教师引导学生由介绍他人的过去与现在,自然过渡到介绍自己的过去与现在,真正实现语言的语用功能。)
3、Work in pairs
T: There are a lot of changes in our life. Let’s find together(四人小组).
Read and choose.
Write a short passage
(设计意图:四个任务的设计,将所学知识引入我们的生活,让学生自选一个,并根据的实际进行笔头的练习,落实课标中听、说、读、写四个基本能力。)
Step4 Homework
1、Talk to your friends about the changes happen on you.
2、Memorize the irregular verbs you’ve learnt , and try to know more.
3、Think about more changes of our life, try to say them in English.
(设计意图:作业的设计立足于文本,同时运用于生活,着重培养学生综合运用语言的能力。)
