Teaching aims and learning objectives 教学目标
1. 能听懂、会读、会说:
dirty, underground, subway, wet floor, No littering./No eating or drinking./No smoking./No parking/Danger!/No fishing./No swimming.。
2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语:
What does it mean?It means … (No littering/parking/smoking/…)You can /can’t …。
3. 能准备读出字母ir在单词中的发音。
4. 能进一步将所学的词汇和日常用语运用于生活场景,并在公共场合注意举止文明。
Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty 教学重点和难点
教学重点:能熟练运用句型:What does the sign mean? It means you can’t …(Don’t 动ing)。
教学难点:能准备读出字母ir在单词中的发音。
Teaching procedures 教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Greeting
2. Revision
T: Bobby knows signs are very important in our life.So he wants to do two things.
【设计意图:借助复习Cartoon time的趣味性,营造轻松自然的英语学习氛围,通过Bobby 总结性的话为下面的学习做铺垫。】
3. T:Bobby wants to do two things. One is to remind someone who did something wrong. The other is to make a video. Can you help him?
Task1: Show the photos and Say something.
Task2: Four students in a group and write and make some signs
【设计意图:通过读写的练习,使学生复习并巩固前两个课时所学的重点单词和句型。】
Step 2 Presentation
Culture time
T: So we should more attentations to our behavior in public places,such as Shopping center, Park, metro and so on.
There is a riddle for you. It looks like a train but it runs underground. What is it? Can you guess?
T: You are right. In the UK, people call the metro “underground”. In the USA, people call the metro “subway”. (PPT呈现其他单词在英美英语中的不同拼法)
【设计意图:有交通工具自然过渡到英美国家对地铁不同的说法,拓展学生视野。】
Sound time
T: Bobby is very happy after doing these things.This girl is very happy too.
1. Look, listen and fill in the blanks. (呈现公园里女孩和鸟的图片)
T: There’s a girl under the big tree. In the tree, there’s a bird. What did they say?
(学生听录音后,教师引导学生将小诗补充完整)
2. Role play (pair work)
(学生两人一组,分角色朗读小诗)
3. Read the words after the teacher. (教师带读例词)
【设计意图:通过分角色朗读及跟读,让学生初步对字母组合ir的发音形成初步的印象。】
4. Brainstorming
(1) 以头脑风暴形式鼓励学生说出更多含有ir的单词,教师带读。
(2) PPT呈现一些含有ir的生词,鼓励学生自己读。
【设计意图:通过朗读更多包含字母组合ir的单词,加深学生对其发音的记忆。头脑风暴给出更多含ir的已学单词,帮助学生巩固发音规律,调动旧知,帮助学生记忆。】

2.Collect more words in which the letter “ir” pronounce [?:]
3. Surf the Internet and find more differences between US English and British English.
