T: Who is she?
S1: She is Mrs Brown.
T: Yes. She likes making friends on the Internet. So she has e-friends all over the world. Do you have e-friends?
S2: Yes, I do.
T: Me too. I often chat with my e-friends on the Internet.

T: Yesterday I got an email from my e-friend. Her name is Ruby.She lives in the UK. Let’s check the email.
展示email(关于Christmas)
Learning tips:Christmas is the most important holiday in the UK.

T:Ruby wants to know “What’s the most important holiday in China?”
Ss: Chinese New Year .(点题Unit8 Chinese New Year)
Learning tips: Chinese New Year is the most important festival in China. We also call it “Spring Festival”.

T: What do people usually do at Chinese New Year?

让学生找出“安娜春节将要做些什么?”并用线划出
出示句型“She is going to....”
Learning tips: 语法:be going to +动词原形表示一般将来时
Tomorrow: buy some new clothes and food (同时操练句型)
make some cakes and tangyuan
讨论:
Do you like eating tangyuan? Can you make? Are you going to learn how to make tangyuan?
On Chinese New Year’s Eve: have dinner with her family

On Chinese New Year’s Day: get red packets from her parents
