My dad told me that he wouldn’t be able to come to my baseball game after school, and my mom said that she couldn’t drive me to school because the car was broken, so I had to take the bus. It always smells strange on the bus, and I never get a seat. When I finally got to school, we had a surprise math test, which was my worst subject. If it had been science or English, it would have been no problem. 听力原文:And because I couldn’t wear my favorite shirt today, I had to wear an old shirt that my grandpa had given to me when I was really little, and all the girls in my class laughed at me. At lunch, my best friend had two pieces of cake for dessert, and my next best friend had some chocolate pudding. Of course, my mom had forgotten to put dessert in my lunch bag. In P.E. class, we had to play soccer. I’m terrible at soccer, so I had to play goalkeeper. Our team lost. Then my baseball game was canceled because it started to rain. When the daughter went back to the house, all she could find were one shoe with a thick sole and one with a thin sole. Taking the shoes to show her father, she said, “It’s no use changing! These shoes don’t match, either. One shoe has a thick sole and one has a thin sole.”

The man was wearing a pair of shoes that didn’t match. One shoe had a thick sole and one had a thin sole. He felt very uncomfortable. He asked his daughter why one of his legs was longer than the other. She told him that his shoes didn’t match. The man was happy because his daughter was so smart. Then he asked his daughter to get him another pair of shoes. When the daughter went back into the house, she found that none of the shoes matched. She showed her father the other pair of shoes.
