问题。然后以口头形式表达出来。本段材料读两遍。听力原文:A Nightmare
Lucy decided to travel around the world and see as many foreign places as she could while she was young. When she finished college at home in Britain, she got a job as an English teacher in a secondary school in Spain. Though Lucy spoke only a little Spanish, she was able to communicate with her students in English.
A sentence she had read somewhere stuck in her mind: if you dream in a foreign language, it means that you have really mastered it. Lucy repeated this sentence to her students, and she hoped that someday she would dream in Spanish and they would dream in English.听力原文:One day, Tim, one of the worst students in her class, came up to her and told her that he had dreamed all night… and his dream was in English. “In English?” Lucy was surprised and asked him about his dream. “All the people in my dream spoke English.” Tim said, “And all the signs were in English. All the newspapers and magazines and all the TV programs were in English, too.” “But that’s wonderful.” said Lucy. “What did all the people say to you?” she asked. “I’m sorry, teacher. That’s why I slept so badly last night. I didn’t understand the words they said. It was a nightmare!” Tim answered.现在听录音,检查你的答案。Where did Lucy go to college?

He said if he wanted to win, he should think ______________.Thinking of Your Horses
Many years ago, a man named Wu taught King Wang how to ride horses and how to drive a chariot. After some time the king started to race against Wu. But every time they raced, Wu always won.
The king was unhappy and said to Wu, “You have taught me how to ride and how to drive a chariot. But I don’t think you have taught me everything about racing.”听力原文:“I have taught you everything I know,” answered Wu, “but you have not learned everything. The most important thing about driving a chariot is to think of the horses. The driver of the chariot and the horses should work together. You can then go very fast and drive for long distances. But your problem is this: when you are behind me, you want to catch up with me, and when you are in front of me, you are afraid that I will catch up with you. So whether you are in front of me or behind me, you are thinking of me. You are not thinking of your horses. If you want to win, you must not think of me. You must think only of your horses.”听力原文:现在听录音,检查你的答案。 Long ago, King Wang asked Wu to teach him to __________ and ____________. Soon after, the king would race Wu, but always ____. 关键词: hotel(酒店),same(相同的),noisy(吵的),

Whenever Mr. Smith goes to New York, he stays at the Grand Hotel. In spite of its name, it is really not very “grand”, but it is cheap, clean, and comfortable. Since he knows the manager well, he never has to go to the trouble of reserving a room. He always gets the same room. It is situated at the far end of the building.
On his last visit, Mr. Smith was told that he could have his usual room, but the manager added that it might be a little noisy, because the hotel had decided to build a new wing. During the first day Mr. Smith hardly noticed the noise at all. 听力原文:The room was a little dusty, but that was natural. The following afternoon, he borrowed a book from the hotel library and went upstairs to read. No sooner had he sat down than he heard someone hammering loudly at the wall. At first he paid no attention, but after a while he began to feel very uncomfortable. There was so much dust in the room that he began to cough. The hammering was now louder. It looked as though the whole building was going to fall. Mr. Smith couldn’t put up with it any longer and checked out immediately.现在听录音,检查你的答案。 Mr. Smith often visits New York.
