Step 1. Let’s enjoy
一边看动画“Skip my rope”,一边带领学生跟唱歌曲。
T: What’s that?
What can you do?
Step 2. 1. Let the students look at the picture on Student’s Book. Ask them to listen to the tape.
2.让学生跟读课文和单词
3.分别展示ride, skip, play, fly图片并讲解
Step 3.
1. 1. To learn: He can ….
a. Show a picture of a boy playing football.
T: He can play football.
T: What can he do?
b. Do pair works.
2. To learn: She can ….
a. Show a picture of a girl flying a kite.
T: She can fly a kite.
T: What can she do?
b. Do pair works.
3. Listen and say on Student’s Book page 38.
Ask some questions.
e.g.
T: Who can sing?
T: Yes, she can sing.
Who can draw?
T: Yes, he can draw.
4. Show a rhyme:
Play, play, play football.
I can play football.
Skip, skip, skip a rope.
You can skip a rope.
Fly, fly, fly a kite.
She can fly a kite.
Ride, ride, ride a bicycle.
He can ride a bicycle.
5. Ask and answer in groups of six.
6. Play a memory game.
e.g.

T: Yes, he can fly a kite.
What can S3 do?
T: No, She can ride a bicycle.
7. Work in pairs.
Ss: Fly, fly, fly a kite.
Say: She can fly a kite.
Ss: She can fly a kite.

8. Act “Listen and act” out.
