Step1: 阅读前——运用游戏,调动学习兴趣
以游戏《a magic box》,引出本课的重点句型。
T: Hi, children. welcome back to school.
Look, here’s a magic box for you.
Guess! What’s in the magic box?
S: There’s a / an … in the magic box.
There are some … in the magic box.
T: Good. There are some pictures of people.
(教授生词magic,复习句型 There be 句型,并且引入译林教材的新人物。)
[设计意图]:教师利用学生喜闻乐见的游戏引出主题,让学生复习There be句型,为下文的一般过去时做好铺垫。)
2. 通过新旧人物的对比,并适时教授be动词的一般过去时。
① Look and match.
T: Who are these people?
② Let’s talk.
I was Helen last term. I am Helen this term.
He was Liu Tao last term. He is Liu Tao this term.
They were Mike and Miss Li last term. They are Mike and Miss Li this term.
(教授一般过去时be动词的过去式,am,is—was, are—were,拓展教授last)
③ Things in the box.
T: What else is in the magic box?
S: There’s a jacket / dress / T-shirt. There are sweaters / coats.
T: They are clothes. Can you make clothes? Who can make clothes?
S: The tailor.
(由人物引入clothes,切入主题。)
④ Let’s say.
T: There were some pictures of people in the box a moment ago.
S: There was a jacket / dress / T- shirt in the box a moment ago.
There were two sweaters / coats in the box a moment ago.
(由clothes教授一般过去时There be动词的过去式,am,is—was, are—were,拓展教授a moment ago)
⑤ Show a storybook
T: What else is in the box?
S: There’s a storybook.
T: Yes. It’s Andersen's Fairy Tales. [??nd?sn] [?fe?ri] [te?l]
It’s written by Andersen. Look at this man.

以king为主线,理清故事脉络。
学生看king 图片猜测

Task 2 Watch and answer.

提出第一个问题,学生带着问题看动画。

[设计意图]: 在观看动画前,教师通过询问大家king,激发学生对文本的兴趣,激活学生的思维。然后,教师引导学生通过看动画的方式获取信息,使学生对课文有更多的了解。

(1)过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,用一般过去时来表示。

⑤ in + 过去的年或月
⑥ on + 过去的日期或星期
(3) 用法:am, is的过去式:was
are的过去式:were
(4)总结:一般现在时be 动词用法:
单数is ,复数 are,I am , you are 是特例.
一般过去时be动词用法:
单数 was ,复数 were,I was , you were 是特例 .
