【辨析】 the other,the others,others,another
(1)the other表示两个中的“另一个”。
One of the twins is a doctor,the other is a policeman.这对双胞胎中一个是医生,另一个是警察。
(2)the others表示“其余全部”,相当于“the other+名词复数”。

(3)others指“另外一些”,不是另外的全部,相当于“other+名词复数”。
