课题： Unit 6 Keep our city clean（Story time）
教材分析：
本部分呈现了Miss Li给学生们上课的情景。Miss Li先呈现了一组图片，让学生们意识到我们的城市因为垃圾和污染已经变得污秽不堪。Miss Li接下来让学生们展开讨论，就如何保持城市的整洁献计献策。
教学目标：
1. 能听懂、会说、会读：What makes…dirty /messy? …makes…dirty / messy. What can we do to…? We can…
2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写：keep, clean, make, dirty
3. 能流利的朗读课文。
4. 知道怎样使我们的城市保持干净，培养学生的环保意识。
学情分析：
1.学生有什么：学生对本课句型的时态已经能较好的掌握和运用；通过平时的阅读及学校的教育已经掌握了不少的环保知识。
2.学生缺什么：学生用英文描述城市的污染及如何从自身做起保护环境的卫生，还缺乏一定的英语知识。
教学重点： 1. 能听懂、会说、会读：What makes…dirty /messy? …makes…dirty / messy. What can we do to…? We can…
2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写：keep, clean, make, dirty
3. 能流利的朗读课文。

教学过程：
Step1 Warming up
T: Are you ready for our class?（大家准备好上课了吗？）
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Let’s begin.（让我们开始吧。）
Step2 Pre-reading
1. Free talk
T: Today, I’m your new English teacher. Do you want to know me? You can ask me.(今天，我是你们的新英语老师，你想要了解我吗？你可以问我一些问题。)
S: Do you like …?
S: Where did you go…?
S: Did you …?
T: I like taking photos. I took some photos of Binhai. （我喜欢拍照，我拍了关于滨海的照片）
2. Teach: dirty
T: Now, I’ll show you the pictures.（现在，给你们看照片。）
PPT shows some pictures of Binhai. (dirty pictures)（课件展示滨海的脏乱的照片。）
T: Are they beautiful?（它们漂亮吗？）
Ss: No.
T: Are they clean?（它们干净吗？）
Ss: No.
T: They are not clean. They are….(PPT shows the word’ dirty’)
T: Who can read it? (ask one student to read ‘dirty’)(PPT: thirty---dirty)
T: Read after her/him. Read together.
3. T: Our city is dirty. So we should keep our city clean.（我们的城市很脏，所以我们要保持我们的城市干净）
(板书课题：keep our city clean)
Step3 While-reading
Look and say
T: Miss Li and her students are talking about their city, too.（李老师和她的学生们也在谈论她们的城市。）
PPT shows the picture of P58.
T: Is their city clean?（她们的城市干净吗？）
S: No. It’s dirty.
Skim and find(整体感知课文)
T: Miss Li is worried about their city. She has some questions. Let’s skim the whole text and find’ What questions does Miss Li ask?’.（李老师很担心她们的城市。她提出了一些问题。快速浏览课文，并找出她的问题。）
Check the answers.
Teach the word’ make’: make: A.做 B.使……变得
Part 1 (Page 58)
(1)Listen and tick
Listen to the tape, tick the answers.（听录音，找出城市中什么是脏的。）

Check：the air, the streets, the river
Teach: air( hair----air), pay attention to ‘the’.
Read and find
T: In the city, the air, the streets and the river are dirty. What makes them dirty? (板书：the air, the streets, the river)（城市中的空气，街道，河流都很脏，什么使它们变脏的呢。）
T: Open your books, let’s read P58.
Ss read the text on P58, then answer.

T: The dirty city will bring us illness(疾病) and death(死亡). What can we do to keep our city clean？(PPT shows two pictures.) You can discuss in pairs.（脏的城市会带给人们疾病和死亡。我们该怎么做呢？小组讨论，并说一说。）
Ss say their ideas.

T: Your ideas are great. Miss’s students also have lots of ideas. Now let’s read the text on P59, then finish the exercises on P60.（你们的点子非常棒。李老师的学生们也有许多点子。读59页，完成练习。）
