一、教学分析:
1、学习内容分析:
本课为冀教版第三册第12课,四年级第一学期适用。
2、学习者分析:
本课教学对象是小学四年级学生,这些学生聪明活泼,从小学三年级开始学习英语,已经初步掌握了一些英语知识。本课的故事内容相对于他们而言比较简单,难点的词汇有throw,together及put...up...,不存在难懂句型。
二、教学目标:
1、知识技能目标:
学生能够掌握课文词汇:catch、throw及together;能在图片和教师的帮助下听懂、理解、复述故事。
2、情感态度目标:
学生能积极参与课堂活动,能在小组活动中与其他同学积极配合和交流,提高英语学习兴趣。
3、学习策略目标:
学生能够使用阅读方式(听音、略读、寻读和精读)回答教师问题并理解故事。
三、教学重难点:
能在图片和教师的帮助下听懂、理解、复述故事。
四、教学准备:
多媒体课件、实物(球)及其他教学资料。
五、教学过程:
Step1:Class opening
1.Greeting
T:Hello,boys and girls! S:Hello,teacher!
T:How are you today? S:Fine,thanks!And you?
T:I’m very well. Can you tell me what do you do in the morning(in the afternoon/at home)?
(与学生打招呼,活跃气氛。)
Reviewing
Show pictures:借助多媒体的演示,在图片的引导下,指名让学生回答以达到复习旧知的目的并为新课做好铺垫。)
eg:最后一幅图:T:What do they do in this picture? S:They play catch with a ball.
Step2:New concepts
1、catch.throw的教学
实物展示(球)
T:What’s this? S:It’s a ball.
T:Yes,I want to play with a ball.Do you want to play with a ball?
S:Yes.
T:Yes,I all want to play with a ball.Let’s play with a ball.
(做法:Get two students to show how to play:one student throws the ball,the other catches the ball.让学生拿出球,两人一组一人抛球一人接球。)
板书:catch.throw并领读。
2、together
T:(让两个学生表演玩球,问其他学生):What are they doing? S: They are playing.
T:Yes,they play together(板书并领读)
Leading in:
T:Do you have friends? Do you play together?
Today,Let’s look at a story about a couple of special friends—”John and Jack”,what do they do together?(板书课题)

T: Let’s listen to the whole story and try to answer:
What animal is John's good friend?

S:It is .....(一边回应学生一边展示答案)
(设计意图:引导学生用听的方法尝试找出答案,同时也暗示学生这篇故事是在两个好朋友之间发生的)
T: Do you want to know more things about John and Jack?
S: Yes.
(设计意图:由前面的内容自然引出故事人物,进而对学生们讲一些更多关于John和Jack的事情。)

T: OK. Very good ! This time read picture4-5 silently by yourself, and help me fill the blanks.
