Lesson 12　John　and　Jack教学设计

教学目标 ：
1.学生能够听懂和理解这个简单的故事。
2.学生能够就故事进行提问和回答。
3.学生能够分角色，并根据课文内容表演故事。
4.观看《导盲犬小Q》的故事让学生体会友情，懂得动物也是人类的好朋友，要爱护动物。
学情分析：　　　
四年级的同学经过一年的学习，对英语学习的主动性都比较高，课堂参与度高，喜欢英语活动、游戏和表演。英语课堂应该从学生的生活习惯出发，让学生在玩中学，在教知识的同时又关注了学生的情感态度。整节课以学生为主体，从学生们的生活实际着手，让学生自己解决问题。教师从听说读写各方面锻炼了学生的综合语言运用能力。
教学重点 ：
学生能够听懂和理解这个简单的故事，能够就故事进行提问和回答。
教学难点：
学生分角色表演课文，理解导盲犬小Q的故事。
教学过程：

1. Greeting:

1. 引入新课
T: What do you do on Saturday ? What does he do ? (出示学生和狗狗玩球的照片)
S: Play with a ball
T: Today we’ll learn Lesson 12 John and Jack . This is Jack , This is John . They play with a ball together .But now where’s Jack ? Can you guess ?
Maybe he plays with a cat ? Maybe he plays catch with birds ? What happened ? Let’s watch the story together .
(设计意图：通过学生和狗玩球自然过渡到John 和Jack 玩球，但Jack 却找不到了，老师带领学生共同猜测 Jack 去了哪里)
2. 教师播放本课动画视频
3. Where’s Jack ?： T: Where ‘s Jack ? S: He find a bird and they help the bird .
（设计意图：学生一起回答老师播放故事前的问题，理解故事的梗概）
4. 教学单词： catch , throw
T: Do you know “catch” ? Let’s look (出示幻灯片) Before catch ,First throw . Let’s do it .(学生跟随老师边读单词边做扔球的动作) Throw … ..Can you catch my ball ? S: Yes , I can (学生跟老师一起说catch )
5 .Number the picture .
T: Open your English book , Read the story by yourself .Then, number the story

Step III. Consolidation and extension ：
1. Let’s act
T: Let’s act out the story . All the boys are John . All the girls are Jack (教师播放幻灯片，学生分角色朗读)
2. Look and match .

(设计意图： 学生分角色读完课文后， 进行练习将图片选出正确的句子，让学生进一步理解这个故事)

T: Now there is anther dog coming , his name is Small Q . He is a guide dog . Let’ watch the story .
(教师播放导盲犬小Q的视频，边播放边用英语解释)
T: How lovely ! Do you like Small Q ? I like him ,too . Now Let’s read the story again .
(教师播放导盲犬小Q的音频，学生边看听边看英文，锻炼学生听读的能力)
5. Love animals :
T: I also have many pictures of dogs . They are sniffer dog , police dog s . And many other animals . I think : Animals are our friends . We help each other .We should love them . Do you think so ?
(设计意图：教师出示其他不同工作的狗狗图片和动物图片，使学生懂得动物也是人类的好朋友，要爱护动物)
Small Q
This is a baby dog. His name is Small Q . Look , He is three months (月) . He likes to play with his toys .
Now he is one year old . He wants to be a guide (导盲犬) dog . He goes to the school . The teacher throws the ball . The dogs catch the ball . He learns (学习) go , stop , go left , go right ……
Now , he can help the people . They go home together .They go to work together . They are a happy family .

T: Read the story Small Q or John and Jack to your family .

教学反思：
本节课我从学生的生活中寻找切入点，让英语教学在生活中使用。通过课前复习本单元应会的短语，及句子为新课的讲授做好铺垫。 在引入新课环节我引导学生进行合理猜想Jack到底去了哪里？ 带着问题学生观看动画视频后马上抓住本节课的故事重点。在接下来的巩固练习中学生能很顺畅的进行听说读写练习，在练习中一点一点理解课文，掌握重点，解决难点。 最后，通过观看导盲犬小Q的故事，将本课主题升华，呼吁大家要爱护动物，因为它们是我们的朋友。
在教学中，我要根据学生的反应及时调整课堂氛围，在调动学生积极方面多思考，在鼓励学生时要发自内心为他们喝彩，这样的课堂是我要继续奋斗的目标。
