Teaching aims and learning objectives 教学目标
1. 综合复习前四个单元所学的词汇,日常用语和句型等语言知识,开展综合语言实践活动。能用Hello/Hi, I’m … This is … He’s/She’s … He’s/She’s my …来打招呼,并介绍自己、家人和朋友。
2. 通过活动制作、讨论、展示介绍、唱歌等环节,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使其乐于说英语。
Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty 教学重点和难点
教学重点:能用Hello/Hi, I’m … This is … He’s/She’s … He’s/She’s my …来打招呼,并介绍自己、家人和朋友。
教学难点:能够进一步理解区分This is + 名字与This is my + 人称称谓之间以及She is与He is的区别。
Teaching procedures 教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
Play a game: Magic eyes
T: Do you like games?
S: Yes.
T: Me, too. Let’s play a game: Magic eyes.
【设计意图:通过游戏,复习前四个单元的相关词汇,为后面的学习做准备。】
Step 2 Mike’s Day
1. Introduce Mike
T: Look, who is he?
S: He’s Mike.
T: Now, you are Mike. Let’s see your day.
2. In the morning
T: Look! What time is it now?
S: It’s seven.
T: Time for school. Now you see Liu Tao. What can you say to him?
S: Good morning.
T: Great! Now you want to know if this boy is Wang Bing. What can you say?
S: Are you Wang Bing?
T: What can Liu Tao say?
S: No, I’m not. I’m Liu Tao.
T: Right. What time is it now?
S: It’s eight.
T: Time for class. Here Miss Li says: “Good morning, class .” What can students say?
S: Good morning, Miss Li.
3. In the afternoon
T: What time is it now?
S: It’s one in the afternoon.
T: Look at them. They’re playing on the playground. What can Mike and Liu Tao say to each other?
S: Good afternoon, Liu Tao. Good afternoon, Mike.
T: Time for class. What can Miss Li and the students say to each other?
S: Good afternoon, class. Good afternoon, Miss Li.
T: What time is it now?
S: It’s four.
T: Time to go home. Now I’m Miss Li. I say: “Goodbye, class.” What do you say?
S: Goodbye, Miss Li.
T: What do Mike and Yang Ling say to each other?
S: Goodbye, Yang Ling. Goodbye, Mike.
T: Now look at the picture. What does Mike say to his father? Or, what does Yang Ling say to her mother?
S: He/She is Mike/Yang Ling. He/She is my friend.
4. Mike’s friends
T: Mike has four friends. Who is he/she? Can you guess?
S: He’s/She’s …
T: Can you introduce your friends?
S: Hello, I’m … She’s … She’s my friend. He’s … He’s my friend, too.
