　Last week, our class made a survey on doing housework among ourselves. There are 50 students in our class.
　According to the survey, 40 percent of our classmates often do some washing such as washing clothes, washing the dishes, washing vegetables and so on. 30 percent of the students often clean their houses. 12 percent of the students do some shopping for their family. And 8 percent of them do the cooking. However, 10 percent of the students hardly do any housework.

Dear Helen,
My educational exchange in Canada was wonderful. It was a special experience for me although it was really hard at first. Because I couldn’t speak English well and didn’t like the local food, it’s hard for me to get used to the life there in the beginning. However, with the help of my host family and my classmates, everything got better gradually. I made a lot of foreign friends while in Canada and I also learnt a lot about the country. Most importantly, I experienced a different teaching model there.
A lot of hard work is required when you go on educational exchange, but it is a valuable opportunity. Therefore, cheer up and get everything ready. I’m sure you will make it.

　English is one of my favorite subjects. I started to learn English when I was in Grade One.
　In the beginning, I had a bit of trouble listening. So on the one hand, I did a lot of practice to improve it, such as listening to tapes, watching English TV programs and listening to English songs. On the other hand, I tried to improve my memory. I made sure that I got enough sleep. I also made a list of the things that I should do. After doing these, I found it really helped a lot.
