学情分析：
五年级学生处于小学的高级阶段，他们大部分年龄在十一岁与十二岁之间，生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、比赛非常感兴趣。通过前两年的英语学习，他们已经具备初步的英语听说能力。但是，随着课本难度的不断增大，一部分学生开始感觉学习吃力，对于英语的学习兴趣开始逐渐降低。引此，教师一定要注意培养学生的学习兴趣，激发他们对英语的学习积极性和信心，鼓励学生参与到教学活动中来，发挥学生的学习能动性，让学生真正成为学习的主体。
设计理念：
本节课从学生的学习兴趣出发，让学生在玩中学，在教知识的同时又关注学生的情感态度。整节课以学生的自主学习为主，让学生自己解决问题。教师从听说读写各方面锻炼学生的综合语言运用能力。
