一、教材分析:
本单元围绕family展开话题。第三课是围绕职业话题训练一般现在时中,主语为第三人称单数,由what,where,how引导的特殊疑问句。涉及到职业、工作场所和交通工具等,重点要注意动词的第三人称单数的运用和句型问答、写作。
二、学情分析:
学生对于本课的内容有一定的语言积累,在原有知识的基础上进行学习与大量的练习进行巩固,应能达到灵活运用的目标。
三、教学目标:
(一)知识与技能目标:
1. 能够掌握单词work,doctor,hospital,nurse,worker。
2. 能读懂介绍他人的职业、工作场所以及交通方式的话语。
3. 能用英语询问他人的职业、工作场所以及交通方式。学习询问职业、工作场所、交通方式的表达方式,如What does your father do?Where does your father work?How does he go to work?
4. 通过调查能够和同伴谈论彼此父母的职业并做介绍。能够写一段短文介绍父母的职业。
(二)情感态度目标:
1. 了解家人的职业、工作场所以及交通方式,增进对家人的了解。
2. 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动学习的积极性。
(三)学习策略目标:
1. 对所学内容能积极练习和实践,能主动用英语进行表达和交流。
2. 能主动向老师和同学请教,养成及时概括总结的好习惯。
(四)文化意识目标:
了解多种职业,尊重劳动。
四、教学重难点:

1. 动词的第三人称单数形式的正确使用。
2. 学会并运用单词:teacher,work,doctor,hospital,nurse,worker,walk,drive

2. 正确使用句型:What /Where/ How does ...do?

Activity 1. Class opening and review:
1. Greeting.

2. Brainstorming:Review some words about job.
Activity 2. Lead in.
Tell the students: We are going to learn about our families and what do they do. I am a teacher. You are students. Let’s find out what our parents do. Let’s find out where they work!
Activity3. New concepts.
Talk about the jobs, and teach “doctor”, “nurse”,and then write “ at a hospital” beside “doctor”, “nurse”.
Then learn “worker”.
Read and remember the words.
Game: Which is missing? Remember the words.
4. Deal with the text.
Open the English book and turn to Page 6. Look at the pictures and let’s see how people in Li Ming’s family go to work.
(1). Read Part 1 and find the words .
(2). Listen. Tick or cross.:

Activity4. Pair work:Complete Part 2.
(1). Pair work. Tick and talk. Explain to the students how to do this exercise. Two students talk about their parents’ job,using “What does your father /mother do?Where does he/she work?How does he/she go to work?”.
(2). Then students write the answers on the line.
(3).Let some students read and check.
Activity5. Consolidation and make a summary. Using the words to review.

本课是学习有关职业的词汇:doctor,nurse,worker,farmer,可以帮助学生复习和拓展有关职业的词汇,学习询问职业、工作场所、交通方式的表达方式,如What does your father do?Where does your father work?How does he go to work?利用词汇和句型增加本课的语用价值。在听说读的基础上再学习写一段短文介绍父母的职业、工作场所、交通方式的短文。这种层层递进的方式就降低了写作的难度。
