一、教学分析
1、教材分析：
本单元的话题是李明和Jenny Danny来到中国旅游并了解中国文化。本课是第四单元的第三课，主要内容是12生肖的单词并了解12生肖的排序以及What year is it? It is the year of the rat. What is your year? My year is the year of the rat.句型进行问答。
2、学生分析：
学生通过两年的英语学习，五年级学生已经积累了不少英语知识并掌握了有动物的单词及句型， 通过继续深入学习，从而进一步提高学生的综合语言运用能力。
二、教学目标
1、知识与技能目标：
1.能听懂，会说，认读并书写： also， year
2.能听懂，会说，认读并运用: What year is it? It is the year of the rat. What is your year? My year is the year of the rat.
3.能听懂，会说，认读12生肖的单词并了解12生肖的排序。

培养学生乐于学习英语，能够积极的用英语进行交流讨论自己以及家人的属相。

1.呈现并学习四个新授单词并了解12生肖排序。
⑴rat, ox, dragon, rooster四个新授单词,并根据顺序出示动物.
⑵Game: I say numbers, You say animals.

⑴学生根据拼读规律掌握新单词,并巩固已学单词,感知12生肖顺序。
⑵学生参与游戏。
⑶学生通过做题进一步加深12生肖顺序。
⑴教师引入生肖的概念，运用听音,看图,猜图案多种呈现方式 引出12种生肖以及生肖的排序。
⑵通过游戏巩固。
⑶通过做题检验学生12生肖排序的掌握程度。
2. 出示图片，引入句型。

⑴在句型中运用所学年份名称。

⑵用随机抽奖形式，巩固句型。
⑴能够运用What year is it?和
It’s the year of the .句型进行年份名称的描述。
⑵采用游戏方式巩固句型。
3. 听录音进入文本解决本课重要问题。
⑴运用Tick ( √ )or Cross( × )的方式解决Li Ming Jenny 的年龄及属相并能让学生掌握also的含义和用法。
⑵通过学生自己读课文解决Danny 的年龄和生肖。
⑴学生在听的过程中捕捉所提问题的信息并根据录音内容判断，在此过程中学生感知also的含义及用法。
⑵通过阅读找到答案，解决问题。
⑴带问题听录音直接进入文本，在文本情境中感知年龄和属相，让学生体会also的含义及用法。初步理解文本。通过听音来检测学生的听力理解能力，帮助学生理清思路。
⑵通过读书进一步了解文章，了解生肖和年龄的内在关系以及猫不是十二生肖之一。

5.听录音跟读课文
学生齐读课文。
整体感知课文内容，通过听音跟读纠正读音，培养纯正的语音语调。

学生在小组内介绍自己的家庭成员间的年龄及生肖。

家庭成员很多，课上时间有限，课下继续讨论未完成的家庭成员年龄及生肖。
