Good morning, Mr. President, ladies and gentlemen. It's a great honour to give a speech here. Our view is that Wushu should enter the Olympics.
Wushu, known as Kungfu, enjoys a long history. It can date back to Qin Dynasty.
Wushu has its own international association called International Wushu Federation, which was founded in 1990.
Practised by people in 120 countries on 5 continents, it is now very popular all around the world. Practising Wushu has many benefits. Firstly, it can help to build a strong body, thus improving the life quality of world people both physically and mentally.Secondly, we’re likely to be confident. So in case of emergency, we can defend ourselves bravely. Most importantly,Wushu can also be considered as a bridge to connect the eastern culture to the western one.
All stated above shows that Wushu meets the requirements for an event of the Olympics. It should be provided with a space in the field of the Olympics.
Thank you for your listening. My words Winning of course is very important, but it doesn’t mean everything. Be well prepared for it, face difficulties bravely and learn from your failures, then we will do better.Thank you 1. Polish up your speech.2. Make comments on
