课题内容简介:
《精通英语》四年级下册 Unit 4 Lesson 19 是以谈论一周七天为话题的课文,引导学生能够运用目标语言对一周的天数进行问答。并且从对一周第一天the first day of the week的问答中,初步了解中西方文化背景的差异。
一 、教学目标分解
1. 学生能够根据教师提供的日历听、说、认读单词day, week, Sunday;掌握四会单词day和 Sunday,并在四线格内正确书写。通过教师板书和讲解知道一周七天属于专有名词,书写时首字母要求大写。
2.学生通过chant game ,chain game和passing game学会功能语句:How many days are there in a week? There are seven。并能够使用功能性语句连续问答。
3.巩固 How many…?” “There are...”目标语言结构,将目标语言的应用扩大到生活当中,将学过的词汇滚动练习,以旧带新,强化how many的数量提问功能和问答中There be存在关系的对应。
二、内容分析
1. 教学重点:
听、说、认读单词day, week, Sunday;掌握四会单词day和 Sunday,并在四线格内正确书写。
学说chant,让学生在欢快的节奏中加深对本课内容的理解与掌握。
2. 教学难点:在Chain Game的语言环境中,结合星期的话题交际运用How many days are there in a week? There are seven.
因此在教学设计时从学生的学习兴趣出发,采用小组合作的学习方式。让学生在小组活动中,通过唱、做、写、说、演等多种手段学习和使用英语,完成学习任务,最后达到落实教学重点、突破教学难点,并使学生在学习活动过程中培养综合语言运用能力。

三、学情分析
1. 学生年龄特点
本课的授课对象是小学四年级的学生,他们从三年级开始学习本套教材。自己在与学生一年多时间接触的过程中,有意识地培养了他们一些日常生活的交际用语,大多数学生都具有一定的自主学习能力和语言运用能力。
2. 学生知识经验
本单元的语言结构相对独立,在新版英语教材的前三册从未出现过星期的知识,没有经过任何的语言铺垫;本课又是单元的起始课,单词长、易混淆。因此学生学习起来有些难度。
四、教学过程
在设计教学中我以“快乐学习日”为主线,正确运用Lesson19中的语言知识,设计了“互致问候,导入主题”创设情景,引导参与 “ 特定游戏,激发兴趣” “自主创造,合作互补”“效果反馈,小结评价”“巧设作业,课后延伸”六个环节,各环节紧密联系,每环节都为下一个环节做好铺垫。
Step 1 Warm-up

设计意图:以竞赛的形式复习How many…,There are…句型,可以快速稳定学生的情绪,复习所学语句 ,为新授课做铺垫。

3. 观看并学说本课chant,巩固所学新知。

(教师带领学生们说本课英语歌谣,学生的注意力又一次集中到电脑大屏幕中,将刚才发散的思维集中于一点使学生明确本课的教学重点。)
