Difficult points: To speak the sentences in our daily life.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warming-up
1. Sing a song: Number song.
2. Greetings: Today the teachers come to our class. Let’s say: Welcome to our class!
3. Free Talk: T: How many teachers are there in our class?
How many students are there in our class?
How many boys/girls are there in our class?(为新课铺垫)
Step 2: Presentation
To learn: children in need.
T: boys and girls are children. A boy or a girl is a child.
(PPT) They are children. (复数的特别变化)
Read “children” one by one.
渗透“ Happy children’s Day!
(PPT) T: They are children. But they are children in need.
Help the students to understand “in need”
2. a. To learn : Let’s help children in need.
PPT出示贫困山区的孩子们,生病的孩子们,灾区的孩子们……
Let the students say: Let’s help children in need.( 发自内心的)
3. How to help?
T: Then how to help the children in need?
S1: We can donate some schoolthings.
T: Yes, what do you want to donate?
S2: We want to donate bags.
4. To learn “bags”.
Show some words “ cat, fat, apple, cap”. Read “bag” one by one. And then learn “bags”.
5. To learn: seventy bags
T: Let’s count“ How many bags?”
S: ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy.
Spell and read “ seventy”.
对比区分“ seven, seventeen, seventy”.
T: How many bags do you have?
S: We have seventy bags.
Ask and answer in pairs.
6. To learn “books”.
Show some words “ look, good, foot ”. Read “book” one by one. And then learn “books”.
7. To learn: eighty books
T: Let’s count“ How many books?”
S: ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty.
Spell and read “ eighty”.
对比区分“ eight, eighteen, eighty”.
T: How many books do you have?
S: We have eighty books.
Ask and answer in pairs.
8. Let’s chant.
Look, look, look! Look, look, look!
We have seventy bags. We have eighty books.
Seventy bags, seventy bags. Eighty books, eighty books.
For children in need. For children in need.
Step 3: Practice
1. Listen to the tape and then read after it..
The first time just listen. And answer the questions.
The second time: Listen and read after the tape.
2. Practice in groups.
Students practice the dialogue in groups.
Make up a new dialogue. ( PPT: donate some school things)
Step 4 Assessment
1, Act the dialogue in pairs.
2, Exercises:Fill in the blanks.
