Step1. Warm-up.
(1) Greetings:
T: How are you today?
Ss: Fine.
T: How’s the weather today? Is it fine, too?
与学生打招呼,进行自然的交谈,为本节课的学习设置情境,使学生明确本节课目标的同时,激发了学习的兴趣,活跃课堂。

Step2. Presentation.
1. T: What a big zoo!
(Show students some pictures and let them make exclamatory sentences.)
(Show a picture of farm.)
Ss: What a big farm!
2. T: Shall we go to the farm?
Ss: OK!
(Old MacDonald’s Farm)
T: Here’s the farm, boys and girls.
学生自由回答,畅所欲言,通过学生提到的地点zoo既复习上节课所学知识又引出本课难点句型:感叹句。
教师提供几张有特点的图片,学生练习感叹句,目的是熟悉句式、增强语感。最后由一幅农场图片引出句型“What a big farm!”,学生自然而然说出该句子。

(Show a picture of a cow hiding behind the grass.)
T: What’s this in English?
Ss: It’s a cow.
(书空练习“cow”)
T: Look here. Is there only one horse on the farm?
Ss: No. There are three.
T: So, how to ask the question?
(Teach the sentence: What are these in English?)
Ss: What are these in English?
T: How to answer?
Ss: They are horses. (纠正发音)
T: What are these in English?
Ss: They are cows. (纠正发音)
(Students hold the pictures of horses and cows to practice the sentences.)
4. T: Do you like them?
Ss: Yes, we do.
T: Now, I have some other animals. Let’s play a guessing game: What are these in English?
(Others describe and one student guesses.)
5. T: The animals are our friends. Can we buy these things?
(Show pictures of tiger skin and ivory.)
Ss: No, we should love them.
T: Yes. Because the buying stops, the killing can, too.
6. T: Now, let’s go back to MacDonald’s farm.
Do you want to know the dialogue between Miss Liu and her students?
Ss: Yes! (Listen and practice the dialogue.)
Step3. Practice.
(1) Fill in the blanks.
(2) Make a new dialogue.
由一段MacDonald的农场介绍进行整体呈现。
将动物藏在树后或草丛后,通过半信息的方式让学生猜所学单词,在提高学生兴趣的同时复习单数句型,并且学习本课需书写单词:horse、cow。
通过数量的对比,让学生理解“What’s this in English?”与“What are these in English?”的区别。
学生用马和奶牛的图片进行句型操练。运用图像记忆的方法让学生加深记忆。
通过猜谜游戏,充分调动学生的积极性,并且对本课重点句型:What are these in English? 进行全班范围的练习。
通过游戏环节引出“动物是我们的朋友。没有买卖就没有杀害”,进行德育渗透。
分角色朗读课文。
填空练习进行书写训练。
以本课所学句型为基础,根据新的地点分组编新的对话,进行拓展练习。
