教学目标：
1、会说单词light , broken , heavy , pocket
2、会说句型: It’s big and light. It’s got two pockets. It’ll be easy for you.
3、学会用英语描述事物的特征。让学生学会比较事物之间的不同,能够根据描述指出说的是哪一个东西。

教学过程：
Step 1 Warming　up
1. Greeting.
2. Review.
1、复习一些表示颜色的词,如：red, blue, yellow, green, black.
2、复习反义词,如:new --old ,big --small ,fat--thin ,short—tall
Step 2: Presentation
创设情景,呈现单词。
1、教授单词 broken,
先出示课件,(鸡蛋破了,铅笔坏了等图片),让学生理解broken的意思。
2、教授单词light, heavy, pocket.
（1）出示乒乓球图片
T: Look, What’s this? What color is it?
Ss: It’s a table tennis, it’s…
T: It’s light.
教学light, 齐读,小组读,板书light
（2）出示铅球图片
T: Look, It’s heavy.
教学heavy, 齐读、分组读, 板书heavy.
出课件light, heavy,齐读,再用两个球进行比较。请学生找身边的物品进行比较轻重。
（3）拿着书包,介绍书包上的口袋
T: Look. This yellow bag is big, it’s got a pocket.

出示课件pocket。并引出句子It has got two pockets.
3、出课件巩固单词,教师及时做出评价。
Step 3: Teacher-student interaction
1、导入
T: Lingling is going to come back China, But her bag is broken, Ms. Smart will buy a new bag for her, which bag does Lingling buy? Do you want to know more about it? Now listen carefully, and point to your book.
2、出课件,呈现问题, 播放录音第一遍,请学生带着问题认真听。
a. What’s the matter with Lingling’s bag?
b. How many bags do they see?
c. Which bag does Lingling buy? Why?
3、播放录音第二遍学生跟读。播放录音第三遍,回答问题,向学生讲解We ’ll take it, please. 中take的意思是buy。21教育网
Step 4: Classroom tests
1、课件呈现练习题,请学生以小组为单位,完成练习题。
2、 完成课本活动4。
Step 5: Summary
1. 回顾本课所学知识。
2. 总结各个小组得分,评出优胜组。

1. Try to describe the things in your house.
2. Read the text.
3. Recite the words in Module 5.
