It’s a …. 发展性目标： 通过听音频，图文配对以及课堂游戏的操练，学生可以根据自己的水平分层掌握词汇：frog, rat, chicken, rabbit, fox, dolphin. 通过对话操练，学生可以将拓展性词汇：frog, rat, chicken, rabbit, fox, dolphin运用到对话中。 情感性目标： 通过在动物园中的情景假设以及对话练习，学生愿意观察、模仿动物并自信地用英语来表达各种动物。

Warm up： Review the chant (two times) Review five words: dog, cat, monkey, tiger, bird (T show Ss the picture and ask them to choose the right word and say “I see… looking at me.) 复习巩固第一课时的五个单词：cat, dog, monkey, tiger, bird以及歌谣
Presentation： T: you did a good job. Now we are going to the zoo to see more animals. (show the picture of zoo) Show Ss the pictures of fox, frog, chicken, rat, dolphin and rabbit one by one. 引出拓展性词汇： frog, rat, chicken, rabbit, fox, dolphin
Learning： T teaches the new extended words (fox, frog, chicken, rat, dolphin and rabbit) T: There are so many animals in the zoo. Bill and his daddy want to know the animals. Listen carefully, what are they talking about? Play the radio at least 3 times and invite Ss to repeat the dialogue. T: Oh, look, Binbin and Lily are also in the zoo. Can you guess what are they talking about? Ss: What’s this? It’s a dog, cat, monkey… 新授词汇： frog, rat, chicken, rabbit, fox, dolphin； 导出对话：what’s this？ It’s a tiger/dog.并且帮助学生听懂对话
Application： Do the activity in P23 (T points at one picture and asks Ss “What’s this?” and invite one student to answer “it’s a dog.” Then play a match game. T: Now, it’s a little difficult. Please look carefully. What’s this?
