Warm up： T: today we are going to take a ship for a trip. (show Ss the picture) But only we make all everything right, can we arrive at the island. So are you ready for our trip? Ss: yes, go. Arouse student’s interest.
Revision： Words: T shows Ss the pictures and ask Ss to say the right words. Listen, repeat and choose: T plays the radio, ask Ss to repeat the sentence and choose the right words. Key sentence: T says “show me your ruler/pencil/book/schoolbag”, Ss say “I have a ruler/pencil/book/schoolbag” Chant: Ask Ss to sing the chant with music. (two chants of each unit) Story time: Let Ss read the story together. Teach unit2&3 as the same as unit1. Help Ss to review the key words and sentences, chants and story of unit1&2&3.
