课前准备:
1. 准备教学卡片、奖励卡片。
2. 准备living room图片。
3. 准备一些A4白纸。
教学过程:
Step 1 Revision
1、Let’s draw. Listen and draw them on a paper.
Draw a bedroom in your home. Draw a bed in your bedroom.
Draw a desk in you bedroom. Draw a computer on the desk.
2、 教师让学生互相介绍各自所画的画,并用上所学句子,
如: This is my home. This is my bedroom. There is a new bed,a new computer,and a new chair in my bedroom.
Step 2 Presentation
1、 Show the cards to the pupils. TV /sofa/armchair
Ask them :Where should these put in the living-room?
2、 To teach the new words. Ask some pupils to read aloud.
发挥学生的想象力,让学生为这三个单词各设计一个动作,如:双手比划一个长方形来表示TV;双手抱臂做坐下动作来表示sofa;双臂架起做坐下动作来表示armchair。再通过以下游戏来巩固所学词汇:教师读出单词,让学生来做相对应的动作。此步骤能向学生输入单词的正确发音,使学生理解教师所读单词的含义,在此基础上才能做出与单词相对应的动作来。然后转换角色,教师来做其中某一个动作,让学生来猜一猜是哪一个单词。此步骤目的是为让学生正确输出本课单词。同桌之间以同样方式交换角色做游戏。
3、教师出示本课教学挂图,教师引导学生问答。
T:Where are Kate and Li Yan? Are they at home?
SS:Yes.
T:Are they in the bedroom?
SS:No.
T:Where are they?
SS:They are in the living room.
此段对话目的为了复习home,bedroom,living room。
T:What's in the living room?
SS:There is a new TV.
此段对话学习句式What's in?? 同时复习句式:There is a new?。
T:What's in the living room?
Ss:Sofa/Armchair/Kite/Balloon/Clock.
教师展示教学挂图,引导学生说出图画上的所有物品。
T:How many sofas? Let's count.
T&Ss:One,two.Two sofas.
T:There are two sofas in the living room.
T&Ss:There are two sofas in the living room.
教师以同样方式,让学生跟读以下句子:
There are four armchairs .There are three kites,There are five balloons.There is a big clock.
Step 3 Practice
1. Listen to the tape and repeat after it. Then ask some groups to read in class.
2. Read the dialogue in groups and act it out
3. Write down the new words
4. let’s chant
