美国人是如何保护环境的
如果说美国人环保,很多人会跳出来指责:车比人多,而且爱买大排量车,超市里的塑料袋至今还是免费的,而且给得超大方.路边的灯在下午就亮了早上9点还没关.爱买大房子,而且爱住郊区,破坏大量农田...在很多人眼里,美国人挥霍无度,大手大脚.但是,政府越来越重视环保问题,积极促进可再生能源的开发利用，充分合理利用现有资源，鼓励节能等.
而且很多美国人视环保如生命,把环保作为他们生活的一部分.从他们出生起就很自然的养成了环保的好习惯,他们的环保意识很强,体现在很多细节方面.
NO.1:垃圾分类
美国所在小区每周星期5定期来收垃圾的.清晨，各家各户把垃圾桶分类放到门前，由环卫部门的车辆拉到处理场进行集中处理。不可再利用的变成肥料，然后免费给各家培植树木花草。
NO.2:纪念的方式
很多美国人纪念亲人的方式,是在路边为他们种上一颗树,或者捐赠一条木椅,既方便了他人,又纪念了亲人.每当我看到路边这样的石头,看到大大小小的树,我都很感动,那些离去的人们,他们的生命也随着这些树而永生了.
NO.3:路边到处有供收集狗粪的袋子
美国人爱养狗,但是路边从来没见过狗粪.除了美国人自己有良好的习惯外,与路边常见的狗粪收集设备也有关.几乎每个草坪旁边都会有几个这样的盒子.
NO.4:环保组织经常会有活动,宣传环保意识
环保局经常会搞一些有奖问答活动.回答了他们提出的各类环保问题,就可得到相应的奖品.大家都很喜欢这样的活动.
NO.5:鼓励回收
美国环境保护局成立“美国回收利用日”组织，将每年的11月15日定为“回收利用日”。美国各类环保组织经常举办各类活动，鼓励居民积极参与社区里的再生物质利用项目，购物时使用可循环利用的包装品，购买可以维修和重新使用的物品等.几乎所有的瓶子上都有回收的价钱.易拉罐,啤酒瓶,饮料瓶等都是可以退钱的.而且很多超市都顺便有退瓶子的点,很多还是自动的.
一瓶矿泉水1毛钱,瓶子5分钱.
NO.6:垃圾处理机
原来这是一个处理生活垃圾的装置,从上到下四层. 原理是利用蚯蚓来消化生活垃圾.很奇怪,原本以为不打开的时候闻不到臭味是因为密封的,可是打开后也没有异味.
这是最后一层,经过处理,那些垃圾已经变成这样了,非常的肥沃了吧.
当然最肥沃在最下面,打开笼头流出浓浓的汁,这是最肥沃的肥料.
