1.Who is Elias And what did he do when Nelson Mandela organized the ANC Youth League
Elias is a poor black worker in South Africa. He met Mandela who was the black lawyer when he was in his trouble. Elias went for advice to Mandela who offered guidance to poor black people on their legal problems.
2) When Nelson Mandela organized the ANC Youth League, Elias joined it as soon as he could. And Elias followed Mandela to fight against racial discrimination, and finally they achieved equality with the white.
2. After Elias join the ANC Youth League, what did he do And what did he thought about the violence
1) Elias and his colleagues chose to attack the laws. They first broke the law in a way which was peaceful; when this was not allowed, they decided to answer violence with violence.
2) As a matter of fact, Elias did not like violence…, but in 1963 he helped the ANC Youth League to blow up some government buildings. It was very dangerous because if he was caught he could be put in prison. But Elias was happy do it because he knew it would help them achieve their dream of making black and white people equal.
3. Why did Elias join the ANC Youth League
1) When Nelson Mandela organized the ANC Youth League, Elias joined it as soon as he could because he knew the organization would help them achieve their dream of making black and white people equal.
2) Elias join the ANC Youth League because he wanted to have the same rights and be equal with the white people who worked anywhere without taking passbooks. He wanted to live and work as same as white people.
