一、基数词用法
1. 基数词在表示数量时与表示编号、号码时的读法不一样。

2. hundred, thousand, million 有不加‘s’和加‘s’两种情况:
I have two hundred books. (不可加s)

I have hundreds of books. (必须加s)
我有数百本书。
二、序数词用法
1. 表日期:the fifth of June (=June the fifth) 6月5日
2. 表顺序或编号:
the second lesson (=Lesson Two)
3. 序数词常与the连用,但以下两种情况不用the:
(1) 作副词, 如:
He often comes first in the exams.
他考试常名列第一。
You must finish your homework first.
(2) 前面有限定词(如形容词性物主代词
名词所有格)时,不可再用the。
