Step 1 Warm-up & Revision
1.教师通过第二单元所学的季节引出本单元重点知识。We have four seasons in a year. How many months are there in a year? 引导学生回答We have twelve months in a year.
2.复习上节课所学的一月至六月的单词及各个月份的节日或活动短语。
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
A. Let’s try
1.教师带领学生明确题意。稍后播放Let’s try部分的听力,学生完成练习。最后师生核对答案。
2.再次播放录音,学生逐句听并复述。引导学生抓住关键词。
3.针对学生不懂的地方,教师点拨重难点。
A. Let’s learn
1.用课件呈现运动会、英语聚会、学校郊游的图片,引出短语sports meet,English party,school trip并进行教读。
2.教师用课件呈现Let’s talk部分的内容,简单介绍该部分的背景并播放录音,让学生回答问题:What activities are mentioned in the text? When are they?
3.教师讲解此部分的对话,对其中的生词,如:a few,稍作解释说明。
4.教师带读课文。稍后教师将全班分为各小组,小组读对话,理解对话大意。并小组间进行角色扮演,评出组内读得最好的一对伙伴评出组内“背书小冠军”。
5.询问“When is the ...?”学生回顾对话内容,给出答语巩固内容。
6.师生小结对话中的重点句型。
7.Pair work:在不同的季节还有哪些节日或者有趣的事情可以做?学生根据框架编一个新对话。

1.听录音,朗读并背诵Let’s talk部分的对话。
2.用句型“—When is the ...? —It’s in ...”写一写节日或活动,并和伙伴说一说。
