Step 1 Warm-up & Revision
师生复习一月至六月的单词,并自由问答“—When is ...? —It’s in ...”随后教师询问“When is Teachers’ Day?”依次方式引出本节课新词July、August、September、October、November、December。
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
B. Let’s learn
1.教师呈现七月至十二月份以及对应节日或活动的不完整表格,根据表格进行问答。如:—When is the summer vacation? —It’s in July and August.
2.教师利用课件呈现Let’s learn部分及节日或活动的图片,根据图片以问答的形式教学月份及活动类词汇,并带读。
3.听录音,学生跟读该部分的词汇,强调注意词汇的发音,稍后请学生领读。
4.Let’s chant:
March, April, May; Spring spring spring.
June, July, August; Summer summer summer.
September, October, November; Fall fall fall.
December, January, February; Winter winter winter.
B. Ask and write
1.教师让学生自主完成Ask and write部分的填空练习。学生完成练习后,教师核对答案。最后,学生将句子读三遍。
2.教师请几名学生上台练习。教师念题目,请学生写出月份单词。如:Teachers’ Day is in September. 学生写出September。在学生写完后,请余下的学生检查答案。旨在考查学生对节日的掌握情况和对月份的拼写情况。
3.教师呈现完整的月份及对应节日或活动的表格,学生根据表格进行问答练习。如:—When is Mid-Autumn Day? —It’s in September or October. I’ll eat mooncakes with my family.
4.教师讲解区分on,at,in作为时间介词的用法。
5.教师通过十二个月份的缩写形式给出缩写口诀,帮助学生记忆。
Step 3 Homework
1.听录音,朗读Let’s learn部分的词汇及句子。
2.抄写Let’s learn部分的词汇。
3.完成Ask and write部分的练习,并进行记忆。
