一、 教学目标
1. 语言知识目标：
1） 学生能够听、说、读、写think---thought, 听、说、认读amazing, 听、说helicopter, It was amazing. I thought it (was )…
学生能听懂、会说、会认读特殊疑问句(What did…? Where did…?)及其回答。能运用所学句型在情境中自由交流。
2）学生能够读懂课文，抓住课文主线,说出故事发生的时间、地点、人物和事件。学生能够正确地运用动词过去式简单谈论、描述事件，通过举例、推理等方式，发表自己的简单看法。
3）学生能够按照正确格式写信。
2. 语言技能目标：
学生能够运用I (v-ed)一般过去时句式描述过去发生过的事情。
学生初步运用跳读（略读）和扫读（细读）的方法找出文中的重要信息。

学生学会积极与他人合作，小组内共同完成学习任务；
遇到困难,能够主动向老师或同学请教；

4. 情感态度目标：

5. 文化意识：学生能初步说出英国的古迹“巨石阵”简单实事。简要回顾前置文化：中国的长城和英国的”大本钟””伦敦眼”等著名景点。
二、 教学重点和难点
1. 教学重点：
1）学生能够正确听说读写本课的单词，词组和句子。
2）学生能够运用快速阅读的方法抓住课文主线, 整体理解课文。
3）学生能够正确地运用动词过去式谈论简单的事件，并发表自己的简单看法。
2. 教学难点：
学生能够准确运用动词过去式表述在过去发生的事情。正确的运用Where did...? What did...? I (v-ed)句型表达和交流, 能够读懂、简单描述、写出旅行经历。

I. Warm up.
Free talk: What did you do last weekend? Where did you go ?
II. Pre- Reading
Try to ask questions:

III. While Reading
1. Watch the the courseware,

2. Skimming 跳读
