教学内容:
译林版四年级英语下册Unit 5 Seasons (Story time)
教学目标:
1. 掌握单词spring, summer, autumn, winter
2. 知道每个季节对应的活动并能体会其趣味性
3. 能正确且有感情地朗读四首诗歌,从中体会到诗歌之美以及季节之美
教学重点:学会使用关于季节的句子:In spring, it is warm. We go boating.
教学难点:熟练使用英语表达有关季节的句子
教学过程:
Step 1 Lead in
Story time
1. 老师呈现若干幅春天的照片,利用“What can you see?”这个句型和学生进行问答活动。
T:Look. Here are some pictures. What can you see in the pictures?
S1: I can see some green trees.
S2: I can see some beautiful flowers.
T: Great. These pictures are all about one season. What season is it? Can you guess?
Ss: It’s Spring.
T:What do you want to know about seasons?
Ss: Name, weather, activities.
Step 2 Presentation
1.教师呈现关于季节气候和活动的图片,引导学生们从环境,颜色,人物穿着和人们做的活动等角度回答问题。
T:What can you see in the picture?(夏天的图片)
S1:I can see dresses and shorts.
T: What do they do?
S2: They swim.
T: Is it hot?
Ss: It’s hot.
T: It’s hot. people wear dresses and shorts. They swim. What season is it?
Ss: It’s Summer.

2. 观看story time动画并回答问题
(1)T: What’s the weather like in every season?
S: Spring is warm.
Summer is hot.
Autumn is cool.
Winter is cold. (板书warm hot cool cold )
小结:Seasons are beautiful and changeable. 季节是美丽而多变的。
(2)T: Seasons are fun. 季节是有趣的。
a. Read the poem and choose the activities in each season.
读一读小诗,选出每个季节里人们的活动,用“——”划出词组。
(板书课文中的词组fly kites go boating; eat ice cream go swimming; have picnics go climbing; make snowmen go skating 教读)
b. Can you match? 你能将下列短语安排到对应的季节图片中吗?
学生边匹配边学习新词组go boating、go swimming 、have picnics、go climbing、go skating (go + Ving)
Step 3 Practice
1. T:Seasons are readable. 季节是可颂读的。
Listen to the radio and try to imitate it.
读完后让学生自己体会如何将诗歌读的更好,随后教师帮助总结
2.T: Seasons are colorful.
思考:每个季节都会呈现出什么样的颜色呢?为什么呢?
小结:Seasons are colorful.
3.Seasons are wonderful. Life is wonderful, too.
在这四个季节,你还可以干什么?(自由回答,没有固定的答案)

4.描述自己最喜爱的季节
小组活动,组员之间描述自己最喜欢的季节。然后邀请一些同学和全班同学分享。
