Listen to the passage Anne’ Best Friend , then retell the story in your own words.
The sample:
S1. Anne lived in Amsterdam in the Netherlands during World War II. Her family was Jewish. Avoid caught, her family had hidden for nearly twenty-five months before they were discovered.
During that time, the only true friend of Anne was her diary.
S2. Anne said that she didn’t want to set down a series of facts in a diary as most people do, but she wanted this diary itself to be her friend, and she called her friend, the diary, Kitty.
S3. In Anne’ diary, she told us her filling after being in the hiding place since July 1942.
She wondered if that’s because she hadn’t been able to be outdoors for so long that she had grown so crazy about everything to do with nature.
she could well remember that there had been a time when a deep blue sky, the song of the birds, moonlight and flowers could never have kept her spellbound.
One evening when it had been so warm, she had stayed awake on purpose until half past eleven in order to have a good look at the moon by herself. But as the moon had given far too much light, she hadn’t been dare open a window.
Anne said that she was only able to look at nature through dirty curtains hanging before very dusty windows.

9. stupid a. 愚蠢的,迟钝的
Don't be stupid.
