一、教学目标:
1. 能认识并正确朗读单词cold, cough, fever, headache,词组come to school
2. 能正确朗读句子I’m sorry to hear that. Take care. 并理解其用法和人文含义
3. 学会简单的电话用语,并熟练掌握如何用英语打电话
4. 初步适应长语篇及其教学方法,理解课文内容,从中学会不能来学校要及时打电话给老师,并在身边人状况不佳时关心他人的简单道理
二、教学重难点:

2. 学会简单的电话用语,并熟练掌握如何用英语打电话

四、教学过程
Before class :?《How are you?》(循环播放此歌目的:将所有学生及听课老师的思绪全部聚拢到你的课堂)

T:Ok,(教师可以拍拍手提醒学生) are you ready for class ? Class begins
S: stand up .
T: Hello , boys and girls .
S: hello ,Miss Wang .
T: Sit down please . How are you ?(指名3-5名学生回答)

T: OK, let’s learn Unit 8 How are you ?( 板书出示课题 ,带领学生读2遍)

Pre-story activities:
1.?T: We are all fine today. What about our friends? Let’s greet them.(人机对话)(2分钟)
S: Hello, Helen, how are you???Helen: I’m fine , thank you.
S: Hello, Mike, how are you???Mike: I’m OK , thank you.
S: Hello, Liu Tao, how are you???Liu Tao: I’m great , thank you.
S: Hello, Yang Ling, how are you???Yang Ling: I’m not so good.
T: Yang Ling is not so good. What’s the matter with her?(教师表情肢体语言到到位)
Look, she is making a call. (出示课文第一幅图片,并出示电话铃声).
Can we make telephone calls in class?(手演示打电话动作,帮助学生理解)
Ss: No, we can’t.
T: We can’t make telephone calls in class. But today we can. Why? Because we are learning how to make telephone calls in English today.
2.(出示本节课的教学目标)Look, these are our learning aims for today. Now read the aims by yourselves.

a. I can know how to make a telephone call in English
b. I know some illness
c. I can care about and help others
3.Yang Ling is not good ,I’m sorry to hear that.(ppt 呈现Tips: I’m sorry to hear that.一般是听到别人说不好的事情时你可以这么说)
I want to call her (ppt显示王老师头像和yangling 头像并呈现电话用语Tip: Phone expressions: This is… speaking. May I speak to…. )
A telephone call to Yang Ling(教师拿出电话示范)
Who wants to call her too ?(指名3-5人练习Phone expressions: This is… speaking. May I speak to….)
Yang Ling is ill ,she calls Miss Li. Now let’s listen to the telephone call and choose. (ppt出示)

While-story tasks:
Task 1. Listen and choose.
??Ss listen to the first telephone call and choose to answers. T(利用PPT上单词图片) helps explain the new words: cough, headache, cold, fever.

Task 2. Think and say:
??T: Yang Ling has a cold and a fever. What can she do? Do you have any suggestions(建议)?

准备一分钟,生生表演,提两组。
Task 3. read and answer(自由朗读并回答问题 ppt出示课文第二幅图及2个问题)
T: Miss Li is a nice teacher. She is worried about Yang Ling. In the afternoon, she makes a telephone call to Yang Ling.

自由读课文,read by yourselves. And answer the question

Post-story activities:

(教师总结)How to make a telephone call? (结合板书: This is… speaking. May I speak to…?)
Activity1: Let’s call.
2. Can you know how to make a telephone call? How many stars can you get? Great!
??→Now let’s look at aim2: I know some illness. What illness do you know? Let’s play a game.
??Ss look at the pictures of the apples with a letter and say what illness it is.
→ When we are ill, please remember to go and see a doctor.
→ If you don’t want to be sick, you can eat more fruits and do more sports. We have a famous saying in English: An apple a day, keeps the doctor away.
?Activity2: Let’s judge.
??3. T: You are really smart. You know some illness and you can know how to make telephone calls. You have got six stars. What about the third aim? Can you care about and help others?
