重点 words：first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th).的学习。
难点 sentences：When is the sports meet? It’s on April 4th..的学习。

讲授新课 Step 2. 新课内容展示1.板书： “Unit 4 When is the art show? 并教读. T: Do you know when is Easter? Ss: It’s usually in April……. T: DO you know when is April Fool’s Day? Ss: 4.1 T: Do you know how to say 4.1 in English? Learn the new words：first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th) T：first .first Spell it please. S：Read after teacher and spell the word. (类似方法教读单词) 。2.T: Make a sentence: first .first April Fool’s Day is on April 1st.. S：Read after teacher（同样的方法巩固其他单词, My birthday is on May 2nd. 明确告知学生在月份的第几日要用序数词,读时前面要加上定冠”the”, 同时在某月某日前要用介词on)。 3.师生互译序数词、基数词及短语singing contest, maths test school trip , English test。 4. 句子操练：T: When is your birthday? Ss : It’s on Oct 2nd. T: When is singing contest?.... Ss: It’s on Jul. 1st….Listen to the tape and read after it. Step 3.合作交流：5.小组合作：Ask and answer：(灵活运用今天所学单词和句型) When is the sports meet/English test? S：It’s on April 4th. ………….. Step4.达标检测 6.读一读,根据句子选择正确的图片。 A. -----When is the English test? ----It’s on Nov. 2nd. B. Miss Chen’s birthday is on Sept. 2nd. C. Our singing contest is on Jul. 1st. D. Is maths test on Dec. 4th? E. ----When is school trip? ---- It’s on May 5th. 1.________ 2.________ 3.________ 4.______ 5._______ 1.根据教师的提问，回答“复活节”的日期，引发对英语中“序数”的关注。 2.学生认真听教师讲解关于定冠词“the”和介词“on”的使用。3.和教师配合互译序数词、基数词及短语。 4.在教师的指导下操练词组。 在小组内合作完成对句型的问答操练。 6.在教师的引导下完成达标检测，不会的地方做好标注。 1.反复强调知识点，引起学生的注意力，并强调对新知识的接受理解。 2.使用英文句型引出对日期的使用的教学，比较形象具体。 3.师生问答练习，创设语言环境，增加学生学习英语的实用性。4.反复操练，有利于识记。 合作学习有利于增加学生之间互相取长补短。6.使用达标检测，有利于反馈学生学习效果。
课堂小结 总结本课所学知识，并强调对于序数的识记和“the”和”on”使用 。
