Knowledge Objective:
Understand the new vocabulary( eleven, twelve, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty) and sentence structures:

Ability Objectives:
Master the usage of key words, flexibility?in?the?use?of key sentences.
Students with good grades can speak out from 10 to 100.
Emotional Aims:
1. Students know more about clock.
2. Understand the importance of time: Cherish?the?time,?cherish?the?good?side.
3. Encourage students to know more about the expression of time.

【Teaching procedures】
Step 1. Greetings and lead–in.
1) Have greetings as usual.
2) Play music of time.
【设计意图】通过简单的问候拉近师生距离,从听声音引入大标题Time,吸引学生的注意力。
Step 2 Presentation &Practice
Touch and guess.
The teacher will put some cherry tomatoes in the pocket, let students guess what they are. Then lead in 11.
2) Count and say.
Read 11 team by team, and then plus two teams, let them count off one by one, then lead in 12.
Show key sentences :What time is it? –It’s _______.
Then practice how to use numbers in clock.
3) Clap hands and find the rule.
Clap hands with a student and then count our fingers to lead in 20. After that learn new words of 30,40,50.then try to find rule of them.

4) Practice words and sentences.
Students choose a card with a time, ask other students :What time is it? Let them guess.
5) Listen to the song and try to sing it.
Choose 14 students act like numbers from 1-12; two students are long hand and short hand respectively. When the two students are turning , others should sing:Tick tock, tick tock. What time is it? It’s _____.
【设计意图】通过单词和句子的练习引申到生活中,使英语学习更有乐趣更贴近生活。
Step 3 Extension
Read a story book 《Tick tock》together, then give them six papers to match with the right time and activities.
【设计意图】运用绘本的学习,巩固本节课所学内容,增加阅读量,提高学生的阅读兴趣。

【设计意图】增加英语学习的趣味性,把课堂上自己所习得的知识分享给他人,提高英语学习的兴趣和自信。
