学情分析
本单元Project 1 Around our city是五年级下册期中复习板块,是有关综合板块的教学。从语言知识方面来看,要求学生能够熟练的掌握前四个单元所学习的单词和交际用语;从技能方面来看,要求学生能够在一定的情境下用英语进行交流,以此来提高他们的口语交际能力;从情感方面来看,要求学生能够感受自己家乡的独特之处,为家乡的建设做出力所能及的贡献。
本节课为Project 1第一课时,主要围绕Around our city这个主题展开复习。在设计这堂复习课时,一方面要注意到复习归纳第一单元和第二单元,帮助学生打好扎实的基础;另一方面创设出生动真实的情景,吸引学生参与运用所学知识,达到提高学生综合运用语言的目标。
重点难点
【教学重点】
1. 能读懂简单的英语故事,理清故事的思路,弄清人物、地点、时间、事件等基本要素,会简单的概述故事。
2. 学习词汇: bank, restaurant, museum, post office。
3. 通过歌曲学习, 学习补充词汇:subway, ride my horse, row my boat, drive my car, skate my board。

能了解阅读有高难度的英语故事。
能用简单的英语解释英语单词或句子。

S1: Hello, Cinderella. Welcome to Suzhou. I’m Duan Shipeng. I’m in Class 1. This is our school. There are 11 classrooms in our school. And there is a Science room. It’s on the first floor. There is an art room. It’s on the second floor. There is a music room. It’s on the third floor. There isn’t a table tennis room in our school. But we can play table tennis in the playground near the toilet. I like my school.
S2: Hello, Cinderella. Welcome to our city. I’m Fang Yan. I’m in Class 1, Grade 5. Let me show you around our school. There are 11 classrooms in our school. And there is a Science room on the first floor. There is an art room on the second floor. There is a music room on the third floor. There aren’t any table tennis rooms in our school. But we can play table tennis in the playground near the toilet. I play table tennis well. We have a good time every day.
