4. 会熟练地描述去某地的方式和具体的行路过程。
学情分析
本单元Project 1 Around our city是五年级下册期中复习板块，是有关综合板块的教学。从语言知识方面来看，要求学生能够熟练的掌握前四个单元所学习的单词和交际用语；从技能方面来看，要求学生能够在一定的情境下用英语进行交流，以此来提高他们的口语交际能力；从情感方面来看，要求学生能够感受自己家乡的独特之处，为家乡的建设做出力所能及的贡献。
本节课为Project 1第一课时，主要围绕Around our city这个主题展开复习。在设计这堂复习课时，一方面要注意到复习归纳第一单元和第二单元，帮助学生打好扎实的基础；另一方面创设出生动真实的情景，吸引学生参与运用所学知识，达到提高学生综合运用语言的目标。
重点难点
【教学重点】
1. 能读懂简单的英语故事，理清故事的思路，弄清人物、地点、时间、事件等基本要素，会简单的概述故事。
2. 学习词汇： bank, restaurant, museum, post office。
3. 通过歌曲学习， 学习补充词汇：subway, ride my horse, row my boat, drive my car, skate my board。

There is an art room. It’s on the second floor. There is a music room. It’s on the third floor. There isn’t a table tennis room in our school. But we can play table tennis in the playground near the toilet. I like my school.
S2: Hello, Cinderella. Welcome to our city. I’m Fang Yan. I’m in Class 1, Grade 5. Let me show you around our school. There are 11 classrooms in our school. And there is a Science room on the first floor. There is an art room on the second floor. There is a music room on the third floor. There aren’t any table tennis rooms in our school.
