小学五年级的学生学习英语的方式方法很多,在日常生活中,只要我们有心,处处可以学习英语。在校内,抓好课堂时间,给予学生充分的时间与空间,教给学生学习的方法,教学生独立、合作、创造性地解决问题。鼓励学生多开口练习,说英语。

Step 1 Warming up & lead-in
1. Greetings 教师用Good morning, boys and girls!与学生打招呼。
2. T: Where do you live, xx?
S: I live ….
3. T: How do you come to school?
S: I come to school ….You can say you take a bus to school
T: I live far from school. I come to school by car.
4. T: Where are you now?
Ss: We’re in the classroom.
5. T: Yes, now let’s play a game. What place is it? Here are some riddles.
S: OK.
6.Guessing game.
T: You are very smart, let’s play a guessing game.
1. We can watch films in it.
2. There are many doctors and nurses in it.
3. There are many books. We can borrow(借)the book. But we can’t buy them.
4. There are many books. We can buy the books, but we can’t borrow them.
5.We go to this place to see the animals

Step 2 Presentation
1.T: Look, this is our school. If I’m here, how do I get to school? How do we ask and lead the way in English? Today , we’ll learn how to ask the way.齐读课文题目Asking the way let’s look at the learning aims.

2. T: Listen and look carefully. Go along this street. Turn left at the traffic light. Then, you can see the school on your right.

T: Well done. Sit down. Next, traffic lights. Red light, yellow light, green light, traffic lights.
4.T: How do I get to the school? I do, you say. 在教师做每一个动作时,学生重复说3遍。
Ss: 齐说。
5.T: Look, This is Yang Ling’s house. Today Yang Ling wants to go to Su Hai’s house. Where is Su Hai’s house? We don’t know. So Yang Ling is asking the way.
T: (呈现PPT打电话部分)Today YL is calling SH. She is asking SH the way.
6.Watch the cartoon, order the pictures
7. Boys and girls, let’s read the text on page26, and underline some sentences about the pictures. The sentences can show us the way.
8.Read (学习本段出现的新的词组:get on/ get off/ next to.)
9. Yang Ling comes out from City Library Station. She is on Sun Street. She cannot find the bookshop. What can she do? She asks a policeman for help.(学习ask …for help)
