一、教材分析
本单元主要是围绕帮助父母做家务的话题,呈现现在进行时的特殊疑问句和肯定句的用法。 本课的教学主要是在学生学习了story time之后,在初步理解并初步现在进行时的句型的基础上,进一步学习该句型,从听说读写四方面入手,让学生学会运用该句型并进行从句到文的拓展。

教学目标:
1 learn the sentences: What is … doing? … is/are… ing…
2、consolidate the phrases: clean the car, wash the dishes, cook dinner, sweep the floor, clean the table, wash clothes.
3、Ss can learn to help their parents do housework..
教学重点:Ss learn and use the sentences of present progressive..
教学难点:Ss can use the present participle of the verbs..

课后反思
本课时从学生听儿歌回答问题导入,从复习storytime,让学生回答Mike 一家周六上下午的活动切入,引出现在分词与现在进行时的句型,从而展开学习。通过一系列的活动, 让学生深入理解现在分词的构成及现在进行时的句型结构,掌握该句型的运用,能根据一场景用现在进行时描述。
整节课的设计步步相扣,步步深入,由易及难。句型的呈现,操练,巩固和运用都在情境中展开,学生有景可依,更能深度理解并运用句型。游戏和故事,在巩固所学的同时,也激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。从课堂上学生的反馈情况看,学习效果较好。在接下来的课时中,还需进一步强调现在分词的运用及构成。
