英语学科五年级下册unit 5 Helping our parents. 第二课时 教学设计
一、教材分析
本单元主要是围绕帮助父母做家务的话题，呈现现在进行时的特殊疑问句和肯定句的用法。 本课的教学主要是在学生学习了story time之后，在初步理解并初步现在进行时的句型的基础上，进一步学习该句型，从听说读写四方面入手，让学生学会运用该句型并进行从句到文的拓展。
二、教学目标及重难点（知识与技能，方法和过程，情感态度与价值观）
教学目标：
1 learn the sentences: What is … doing? … is/are… ing…
2、consolidate the phrases: clean the car, wash the dishes, cook dinner, sweep the floor, clean the table, wash clothes.
3、Ss can learn to help their parents do housework..
教学重点：Ss learn and use the sentences of present progressive..
教学难点：Ss can use the present participle of the verbs..

本课时从学生听儿歌回答问题导入，从复习storytime，让学生回答Mike 一家周六上下午的活动切入，引出现在分词与现在进行时的句型，从而展开学习。通过一系列的活动， 让学生深入理解现在分词的构成及现在进行时的句型结构，掌握该句型的运用，能根据一场景用现在进行时描述。
整节课的设计步步相扣，步步深入，由易及难。句型的呈现，操练，巩固和运用都在情境中展开，学生有景可依，更能深度理解并运用句型。游戏和故事，在巩固所学的同时，也激发了学生学习英语的兴趣。从课堂上学生的反馈情况看，学习效果较好。在接下来的课时中，还需进一步强调现在分词的运用及构成。
