一、教学目标
1. 能够听、说、认读四个有关学校场馆和位置的词汇：library、teachers' office、first floor和second floor。
2. 能够在情境中正确运用上述词汇描述教室或场馆的位置。
3. 能够在情境中运用句型“Where's the ...?”“It's on the ...”询问并指明位置。
二、教学重点、难点
听、说、认读上述词汇，并运用这些词汇描述教室或场馆的位置。
三、教学准备
单词卡片、教学光盘和多媒体课件。
教学过程
Step 1：Review&Lead in(复习&导入)
学生表演课本第4页Let's talk部分的对话。
情境导入。
教师出示教学图片，引导学生对话。例如：
T: Where's the library?
Ss: It's on the first floor.
T: Is it next to the teachers' office?
Ss: Yes, it is.
T: Where's our classroom?
Ss: It's on/next to ...
Step 2：Presentation&Practice(新课呈现&当堂操练)
教师呈现几张学校的照片并介绍学校：
Look! This is our school.It's clean and beautiful. That's the playground. We can play ...
教师接着呈现自己的办公室照片问“Is this my office?”，学生确认并回答“Yes, it is.”，教师说“Yes. It's the teachers' office.”，同时板书teachers' office并提醒学生关注 ea、ch和er 的发音。
教师利用实际情况引导学生描述“This is the teachers' office. It's big. I see a computer in it.”。
教师呈现图书馆的图片说“Is this the teachers' office?”，引导学生回答“No, it isn't. It's the library.”。教师板书 library，引导学生分音节朗读。
教师呈现几幅图书馆的图说“Look! There are so many books in the library. What can we do in the library？”， 引导学生说“We can read books in the library.”。
教师出示词汇部分图片问“Where is the teachers' office?”，引导学生回答“It's on the first floor.”。教师板书 first floor，引导学生关注重点字母组合的发音。
教师继续提问“How many classrooms can you see in the picture? Where are the classrooms?”，引导学生作答，教师板书second floor并教授词组。
教师利用图片请学生说出场所名称。请四名学生到教室前面，手持教学卡片。教师说一个单词或短语，请手持相应卡片的学生快速举起卡片，其余学生一起朗读上面的词汇。
教师播放 Let's learn 板块录音，学生跟读并模仿。然后教师请学生朗读词汇和对话。
Step 3：Consolidation&Extension(巩固&拓展)
教师把全班同学分成两组，用PPT呈现一个学校的各个部分的分布图，一组问，一组回答；然后角色互换，练习本课时所学的句型。例如：
G1: Where's the teachers' office?
G2: It's on the first floor.
Let's do
呈现Let's do 板块四个场所的配图：library、 teachers' office、 playground和garden，再呈现read a book、 say hello、 play football和water the flowers，请学生把场所与相对应的活动形式搭配起来。
教师播放录音，学生跟随录音说一说，做一做。
教师分组，学生跟随老师边说边做，看看哪组表现得最好。
Step 4：Summary(小结)
本课我们重点学习了四个有关学校场馆和位置的词汇，学会了在情境中正确运用上述词汇询问或描述场馆的位置。
Step 5：Test(当堂微测)
根据汉语意思写出下列词汇。

选出与下列句子相对应的答语。

教学反思
1. 亮点：本节课主要学习学校场馆及楼层的英文表达，教师通过学校照片与学生互动学习，拉进了与学生的距离；Let's do 部分节奏欢快，进一步巩固了所学的知识，学生学习的积极性高，学习效果很好。
2. 不足之处：学习first与second时，没有进行文化知识的学习。
3. 教学建议：在学习新课的过程中，给学生讲解“第一层”在英国(the ground floor)和美国(the first floor)的两种不同表达。
