T出示图片,学习新单词neighbourhood学生跟读。
T出示图片,并说When you are hungry, we can eat or drink there. What place is it? 然后让学生猜是什么,并听录音学习新单词restaurant, 学生跟读。
T出示图片,并说We can send a letter there. We can buy stamps there. What place is it? 然后让学生猜是什么,并听录音学习新单词post office,学生跟读。
T出示图片,并说We can get money or save money there. What place is it?? 然后让学生猜是什么,并听录音学习新单词bank, 学生跟读。
T出示图片,并说We can buy apples and bananas there. We can also buy orange juice and other drinks there. What place is it? 然后让学生猜是什么,并听录音学习新单词grocery, 学生跟读。
T出示图片,听录音学习新短语across from, 学生跟读。T: The post office is across from the supermarket.. 学生跟读。
T出示图片,听录音学习新短语next to, 学生跟读。T: The cinema is next to the bank.. 学生跟读。
T出示图片,听录音学习新短语between … and …, 学生跟读。T: The restaurant is between the hospital and the bookshop. 学生跟读。

根据所给图片,说出其相应的英语。
四.Look, listen and repeat.
1.教师出示图片,问What can you see? 引导学生回答I can see….然后让学生根据所给的图片说出其相应的英语。
2.老师播放录音,学生认真听,并跟读。
五. Let’s look and write.
老师出示图片,学生根据其所在的位置进行对话,练习句型: Where is the …? It’s between… and…
六.Pair work.
学生根据图片所在的位置,两人一组练习句型。
七. Look and say.
1.教师出示图片问Where is the bank? 引导学生回答It’s between the supermarket and Sunday Park.然后在图片中将单词bank放在正确的位置上。
同法将restaurant, post office, grocery放在正确的位置上。然后看视频,学生要注意观察,刚才将物体放的位置是否正确。
2.教师领读课文对话,学生跟读,提醒学生注意模仿语音、语调。要注意读出故事中人物的心情哦!

大部分学生还坐不住,对于低年级学生来说,图像和动画更能吸引他们的注意力, 老师在今后的课上还可以增加一些趣味性,让他们很快融入情景之中,引导学生展开想象,让他们在类似的生活场景中运用所学语言,每队上台在交流的过程中老师将话题自然引入本单元教学内容,只有在提高学生英语兴趣的基础上,才能上好英语课。
