短文简介:本文的关键词是“学习烦恼”。文章以信件的形式呈现了Liu Ya在学习中遇到的问题,以及Merry给出的建议。
Dear Merry,
Recently, I have trouble with my study.
In school I can't listen to teachers carefully because I always feel tired and sleepy. I don't spend time with friends after class either because I think it's a waste of time. I even missed writing some answers in the test. At home, I can't get my homework done every night. My parents don't let me stay up. So I have to get up early the next morning to finish it. Lately, I even get a bad headache.
How can I solve these problems?
Yours,
Liu Ya
Dear Liu Ya,
When you have trouble listening to teachers carefully in class, you can ask your teachers or deskmate to remind you often. Then spending time talking about many different things with friends can make you happy. It's not a waste of time. As for homework, when it's hard to get finished, one thing you can try is setting goals for yourself. Ask your parents to help you. You must take a break, especially if you don't feel well. You might be surprised but a short break can help you get more done! Lastly, if you don't worry and have enough sleep, your headache will leave you.
Yours,
Merry

How funny would it be to see memes(表情包)in textbooks? Some students from Chengdu No. 7 High School have made it come true.
The students wrote a set of creative textbooks that includes five subjects—Chinese, English, maths, chemistry and physics. They share their notes to help students prepare for High School Entrance Exams in this way. Funny memes can be seen almost everywhere in their textbooks.
Each textbook has its own style, too. The English textbook introduces films and TV series. The chemistry textbook has wuxia characters. There is a boy named Shangguan Huaxue in the book. He meets a girl and they learn chemistry together. It also has wuxia-style notes.
Yan Zuhuai, a top student at Chengdu No. 7 High School, is the textbooks' editor-in-chief. He got the idea to create the books in June, 2017. “Many students wanted me to share my notes with them. 短文简介:本文的关键词是“语言学习”。作者根据自己学习汉语的经历提出了几种学习外语的方法。
For anyone experiencing the struggle of foreign language learning, here's my guide.
Study abroad.
I know the right I have to say this, but take any opportunity to study abroad. The easiest way is to slide in as a student and finesse(巧妙处理) your way into a full-time job. It's the laziest method because although I'm not actively studying up on Mandarin (普通话) right now, every day I'm still exposed (曝光的) to so much, it helps me keep a good level of Chinese. Since my work just requires English, I'm all about that passive learning of Mandarin when I can!
Find friends who don't speak English.
Finding friends who don't speak your mother tongue is the best way to improve. And this doesn't even need to be local friends. My Chinese skills improved a lot when I hung out with Korean and Japanese friends who couldn't speak English, but were language learners like me. Go to KTV.
Singing is such a great communal activity, but it sucks when you don't know the songs. Ask your friends for a list of classic KTV songs and start learning your favourites. You?ll learn more grammar structures and in the case of Chinese songs, lots of romantic sounding phrases to profess your love (or eternal anguish) to the world.
Watch YouTube!
If you don't have time for artsy, foreign language films or TV shows, find vlogs, makeup tutorials (教程), or even variety shows by people who speak your desired language! I
love watching vlogs in Chinese because it's another way to get used to hearing real-life conversations, and a good way to learn new slang and phrases. For some reasons, Chinese people love subtitling everything so you can revise your reading comprehension too.
No longer do you need to feel guilty about the build-up of language app notifications, keep language learning fun! If you're stuck on time to work on your language skills and plagued by the fear of forgetting everything you?ve learned so far, these are some great and easy ways to maintain your current ability or slowly advance them.
