本节课将英语语言的学习和思想道德的培养有机结合,挖掘教材课文中的德育因素,设计问题引发学生深入思考,在这一过程中发展学生语言能力、思维能力以及交流合作能力,并达成德育渗透的目标。
教学背景分析:
本单元的话题是Memories,归属于课标话题6 Families and Relatives,其阅读部分A Daughter’s Letter回忆了女儿自己童年的时光,归属于话题13 Life at home。
学生在本册书Unit 3 Festivals and Holidays中学习并感受了节日期间的传统习俗及家人的温情陪伴。在Unit 4 Dealing with Problems中直面与父母的代沟问题,再到阅读本课中菲菲的童年回忆。
由此可见,这三个单元从日常生活到价值观不同造成的沟通障碍,最终落到感恩父母,不仅在话题和词汇方面均有所铺垫,更重要的是在思维品质和品格方面都有了很好的提升。
通过学习本单元,学生将了解上世纪五十年代的生活情景、老一辈的生活记忆,以及一个女儿的童年回忆,希望能以此引发学生思考,鼓励他们细心感受生活中细节带来的感动,以积极、乐观、感恩的态度面对生活中的人和事。
教材分析:
本文是一封回忆类信件,文体为记叙文。整个信件由菲菲第一个离家生日的特殊性引出,由此,她想起了自己的李老师未及表达师恩的悔意,继而推人及己。菲菲想要借由这封信,表达自己对妈妈的爱。于是,她回想起了自己从小到大和妈妈一起经历的点点滴滴,以及妈妈陪伴她度过的整个童年。当她成功时,妈妈为她而骄傲;当她失败时,妈妈鼓励她不要气馁。最终,点出了妈妈教导她对于“成功”的理解,并再次表达自己对妈妈的爱和感谢。
文章内容充实,言语中透着温馨和感动。虽然整体长度不短,但文本内容并不难理解,希望在文章情感洋溢及点滴细节的带领下,能唤起孩子们自己的童年记忆以达到对父母怀有感恩之情的情感共鸣。
