课标解读：本单元课标要求能根据相关信息预测文章内容，掌握文章大意。通过学习，了解其他国家的教育制度以及学校生活。通过细读范文，反复揣摩作者的遣词造句，并结合自身实际写文章，能够向他人介绍自己的学校。
教材分析：本单元更详尽地介绍了英国同龄孩子的学校生活。作为一节读写课，通过阅读，学会仿写。在阅读过程中，教师要指导理解段落大意以及文章的结构顺序。文章是按照作者自我介绍、学校简介、学校日程安排、主要课程、课外活动的顺序进行介绍的。
学情分析：学校生活是在校学生最为熟悉不过的了，通过阅读学习本课讲述英国学校生活的文章，学生也很容易理清思路，结合自己的生活实际仿写出描述自己校园生活的文章。
