Part A
Let’s try & Let’s talk
【教学目标】
1. 能够掌握单词drank,?show。
2. 能运用句型“What did you do? I stayed at home with your grandma. We drank tea in the afternoon and watched TV.”。
3. 能够理解并掌握运用动词过去式的句子。
4. 能朗读课文,并能进行角色表演。
5. 在小组的讨论交流中,培养学生综合运用英语的能力。
【教学重难点】
重点:
运用句型“How was your weekend? It was good. Did you do anything else?”提问,并能结合实际回答有关周末活动的安排。
难点:
一般过去时动词词尾的规则变化。
【课前准备】
1. 单词卡片;
2. 教学光盘或其他录音机设备;
3. 教学课件;
【教学过程】
Step 1:Warm-up
日常口语问候。
T: Hello, boys and girls.
S: Hello.
T: Nice to see you.
S: Nice to see you, too.
2. 头脑风暴。教师说中文,学生快速说出英文,复习词组: see a film, take a trip, draw pictures, go swimming, go fishing, do homework, watch TV, read books, wash my clothes, play football, play basketball, play ping-pong等。
3. 话题导入。
T: What do you do on the weekend?
S: I often clean my room/…
T: What did you do yesterday?
S: I watched TV/…
Step 2: Presentation
T: How are you today?
S: I’m fine, thanks.
T: How was your weekend?
S: It was good, thank you. (is的过去式是was,师生互问互答)
T: What do you often do on the weekend?
S: I often clean the room.
T: What did you do last weekend?
S: I stayed at home with my brother.
教师在课件上呈现两组句子,引导学生认真观察,并尝试找出规律。
4. 教师引导学生总结动词一般过去式的规则变化,一般过去时多与表示过去的时间短语搭配,如:last weekend, last Sunday等。在一般情况下,动词一般过去时在词尾加-ed。教师在课件上用红色标注-ed及last。
5. 知识讲解。(Let’s talk)
单词: drink—drank,drank是动词drink的过去式,教师领读,学生跟读。引出喝茶的表达:drink tea—drank tea。例句:I drank tea last nighy.
6. 出示爷爷奶奶喝茶、看电视的图片,教师提问:What did they do?引导学生答: They drank tea and watched TV.(教师板书并教读)
7. 课件呈现: show,children’s show等词汇,教师讲解中文意思,教师教读,学生跟读。
8. T: What did you do last weekend?
S: I watched TV /….
T: Did you do anything else? Did you play football? Did you do your homework?…
板书: Did you do anything else? 学生讨论意思并熟读。
9. 学生分角色朗读对话并回答问题。(1)What did Mike’s grandpa do last weekend? (2)What did Mike do?
10. 学生讲解对话,教师补充答疑。
11. 教师在课件上出示主情景图,引入Mike的周末活动。询问学生:What do you think of Mike’s weekend? Was it interesting? 教师在课件上呈现日历,使学生初步了解本课要学习的内容涉及过去的时间。(Let’s try)
12. 教师引导学生阅读题目并分析预测。
13. 教师播放本部分录音,学生听后选择正确答案。
14. 师生核对答案时,教师请学生说出原因,引导学生推导时间,引出时间状语last weekend。
Step 3: Consolidation and extension
1.听录音,跟读对话,分角色朗读。同桌分角色朗读对话;教师可随机指定学生上台表演对话。
2. 活动1: 教师在课件上呈现Mike’s grandma周末活动的图片,提问学生:How was Grandma’s weekend? What did she do? Did she do anything else? 教师将学生分组练习对话并创编新的对话,10分钟后进行表演。
3. 活动2: 教师提问学生上周末做了什么以及下周末打算做什么。对话后教师示范如何转述该生的话,然后请学生依照示范与同学对话,并尝试转述同学的活动安排。
T: Hi, Lily. How are you? How was your weekend?
Lily: I’m fine, thank you. It was good.
T: What did you do?
Lily: I went to the park with my parents.
T: That’s nice. Did you do anything else?
Lily: Yes, I cooked a meal and washed the dishes. I played chess with my dad.
T: Wow! You are a good girl. What are you going to do next weekend?
Lily: I’m going to visit my grandparents.
T: Sounds great.
4. 课堂小练习。(PPT展示)
(1) 分别找学生做;再找学生回答。
(2) 给学生时间独立完成练习,再核对答案。
5. 学后反思。
Step 4: Homework
1.抄写本节课重点句子并进行翻译。
2. 熟读Let’s talk的对话,并与同伴分角色朗读。
3. 完成练习册对应习题。

【教学反思】
六年级学生已经具备了一定的基本知识和技能,对基本的课堂用语,教师的指令已经大体掌握,在图片的帮助下能听懂、读准英语单词和句子。在本课时的教学设计上要注重激发和培养学生英语学习的兴趣,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,同时要培养团队精神,增强学生合作意识。本课时最后一个任务的设计,可以让学生小组合作编对话并将对话表演出来,激发学生的想象力。这一环节的完成,需要更丰富的语言与合作能力,,能体现出学生的综合语言运用能力及创新能力,也是对整节课的总结和提升。
