Step 1 Get to know the new teacher
T:Good morning,class.Today I’m your new English teacher.My first name is Xu.
So you may call me Miss Xu. Nice to meet you,boys and girls!
I’m so excited.How about you?Are you happy?

T:Do you want to know more about me? Look! I’m a happy girl.
Am I a girl?Ha Ha!I’m a big girl right? I do a lot of things happily!
I work happily,I love teaching English.We do a lot of happy things together.
I read happily.I like reading books with my son.
T: And I also act happily. Look! I was acting happily in the pictures.
And I like singing most.

T:What about you? What do you like doing?

Oh,you are good at playing the piano,I think.

Step 2 Warming up
1.Let’s read happily!
T: Now let’s read some sentences.
T: Look at this yellow guy, how to read?
What if you were this bear? (I’m large and strong!)
T: If you were this wolf, you say:(I’m going to eat you!)
What about this lion?
T: Could you speak sadly?
And shout loudly :(Help! Help! Please help me!)
T: Wow, you are all good readers, I think.

Step 3 Let’s review(故事会)
1.连线,复习文本
T: Do you still remember in the story who shouted loudly?
S: The lion.(板贴狮子图)
T: And who helped the lion?
S: The mouse.(板贴老鼠图)
T: Yes, is it a good story?
So let’s make it a Mini Theater.
To make a Mini Theater,first,we need to review the story.
Let’s read and match the pictures.

2.过去式复习
And when we tell the stories, which tense should we use?
We often use the past tense to tell a story. (选择填空)
So we say ‘The lion woke up’ instead ‘The lion wakes up’. (板贴wake-woke)
And how about the past tense of let and bite?
S: Let and bit.(板书let-let,bite-bit. )

T: Next,we’ll have an Audition,to see who can act well.In this story, the lion changed his faces a lot.Look at this one,How was the lion?
S:The lion woke him up.He was angry,he shouted”I’m going to eat you!”
(几种读法朗读,让学生体验应该愤怒地读)
副词使动作更加生动形象哦!Adverbs show us how the actions happen,they make the actions more vividly.
He looked at the mouse and said angrily,"I'm going to eat you!"
手拿句子条,让学生感受并读读对话,加上动作,演一演。

(2)quietly-loudly
T:Look at this one,The mouse said quietly ,
“Please don’t eat me, lion. I can help you some day. ”
The lion laughed loudly ,

(5)发现形容词副词规律
T:These were the lion’s feelings and actions.Look at the blues words.They are adjectives.And the red ones are adverbs.Can you find some rules?

T:Fast?学生会说fastly.No fast is also and adverb.They are the same.
What do they mean?动作演示Run fast.Run slowly.
