课标解读：本模块主要学习“be going to ”句型，让学生在学好基本句型的基础上学会制定最佳周末计划，并能更好地安排自己的生活、学习。
教材分析：本模块以讨论和制定周末计划、安排为话题，通过了解对话中各个人物周末活动的计划与安排，让学生能够听懂“be going to ”句型的对话，并能够用英语进行简单的对话。本节课主要侧重对学生听说能力的培养，要求学生能够听懂、会读对话内容，完成听、说任务。
学情分析：通过初中一个学期的学习，有些学生对学习和日常生活还是缺乏计划性，本单元的学习能够帮助他们逐步建立起良好的、有计划性的生活和学习习惯。再加上学生有一定的听说能力，对学习本单元很容易掌握。
