There are many famous tourist attractions in China. Fujian tulou is one of them. It lies in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province. The construction was begun during the Song dynasty, which was about 1000 years ago. It was made of soil, wood, stones and local building materials, which is warm in winter and cool in summer. In the past, people built it not only for living in it but for protecting themselves. The earth building could separate them from their enemies. Now it brings tourists from home and abroad there as well. Fujian tulou is famous for its long history, large number and grand scale. What's more, its shape and style are also strange and unique. It’s full of ancient people’s wisdom, technology and culture. It’s a place that is worth visiting.
